Premium price for just okay sushi. Even with a 25% discount (18% gratuity added automatically) the sushi was just average and not worth the price based on the environment. It was nice to see the sushi chef prep the roll in front of us and provide an appetizer at no charge but overall the experience was sub-par for Vail.

The Hibachi Chef was fantastic!! All the food, from the rice, vegetarian option, to the meats… everything was delicious!!! My family of 4 loved all of it.

we arrived as a table of ten, and where seated at the hibachi table after the server told us that at least one person had to order from the hibachi menu. A few minutes after another server came to the table and ask for the order, we were not ready to order and he seem frustrated by this, to the point of being rude. Soon after the server came back and again seem frustrated when taking the order, then he told us that we all needed to order the hibachi, or at least 5 of us. we had 4 members of our party ordering hibachi at that point he said that either we order the hibachi or we could just leave.

If they had a zero as a rating, that is what I would give this place. We were a table of 14 and had a reservation. They had to split us up into two tables, which was fine, until we went to order. There were several at one table that were not eating, just drinking and hanging out with our group for a 50th birthday party. However, 75% of our group was ordering food and drinks. To start out, the waitress took our drink order and brought the wrong beers back to the table. She then had an attitude when we asked for the beer we had ordered instead of what she brought. We were then informed that at least 5 of the 7 people at our table had to order hibachi in order for us to sit there. The waitress was reminded that we were a party of 14 not 7, in which she continued to have an attitude. We asked for a different server and it just got worse. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave, but they had added the sushi on the bill for us to pay for that we hadn’t even gotten. I am appalled that this place is in business and especially in a place as prestigious as Vail. It should have been a clue that the place was completely empty on a Saturday night. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT even entertain the idea of going to this place.

Do not eat here. 1/3 of the menu wasn’t available- fine. But soup was incredible salty, noodles bland… and the server atrocious. We were early enough to be one if maybe three tables in entire restaurant occupied but he rushed as through as if the place were on fire. During the rush, he didn’t get our order correct… when they brought the wrong plate, I informed him not what I ordered. His response was he read it back to me… so now we’re arguing with the customer, and as already noted he was rushing us out the door the moment we got there.

This was the worst meal ever! The prices were ridiculous and the quality poor. I can’t even compare to street food because street food far surpasses in flavor, cleanliness and atmosphere! High rent is no excuse for flavorless cold food. If the food was amazing you would walk out saying well expensive but it’s Vail. Instead we walked out saying I’ll never step foot in this place again! And we are locals! They apparently have two locations so be aware. They also go by Hibachi Asian

We had lunch here and it was totally empty. That usually scares me away but we decided to stay. I ordered the Thai curry and my wife the pad Thai. They didn’t have either. So I ordered a couple of appetizers, fried avocado and dumplings. The dumplings were a little bland but the avocado was great. My wife also got the stuffed jalapeno which was great with a California roll which was just okay.

A great hibachi & sushi restaurant in the heart of Vail village. The staff here is great and they are very attentive to everyone in the restaurant. They have a wide selection of sushi as well as several options for hibachi. They also have a broad selection of sake with a guide to help you determine if it is sweet or dry.

If I could give zero stars I would. This was the worst meal I’ve had at a restaurant that I can recall. Probably ever. Service, horrible. Cleanliness, horrible. Food, horrible. Price, horrible. I don’t even really know where to begin with this review, but I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. I am all for unassuming hole-in-the-wall restaurants…but this space may be better suited if it were an actual hole in a wall rather than a restaurant. Avoid at all costs.
