Been patronizing this restaurant for over 20 years. Food and service was always very good and sometimes better than that. The restaurant changed hands a while back and when I got the usual family takeout I’ve been getting for literal decades, it was not the same. The containers and portions were smaller, much less flavor on the Mongolian Beef, dumplings & sauce, and everything else. I gave them another try tonight. Same. Lack of flavor. Fried rice was dark brown. Was told on the phone when I placed the order that fried rice with veggies (peas, carrots, and eggs used to be the norm) was $5 extra. I gave you a 2nd chance, you don’t get a 3rd. My family and I will not be back.

We use to love going to Sun Garden until the new owners bought this place in late 2025.we have been in the restaurant while the owner yells at customers and door dash staff. We walked out because he was violently angry!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!!! The food wasn’t even that good either. Tasted like old beef in the Mongolian beef, almost rancid.

Prior to the new management this place was awesome and we frequently ordered from here. Since new management making a to go order and getting it in a timely manner is unreal not to mention the food is awful. They have changed all their recipes and nothing tastes like it used to. I used to think this place was one of the best Chinese establishments I’ve ever Eaten now, but we will not be eating there in the future. I highly don’t recommend it.

Usually cheap Chinese is still good but it seems like this place just doesn’t care. The egg rolls are filled with cabbage only and no meat and the ratio of meat in their dishes to celery for example is very small. Very cheap but the quality is very low unfortunately. I wish they would try a little harder.

What a pleasant experience! The atmosphere was very clean, quiet, and tastefully decorated. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered and commented on how they liked the food.

We ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan, Moo Shu Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and the Spicy Beef with mixed vegetables.

NO CRAB IN MY CRAB RANGOONS. This just blew me so bad I’ve never had crab Rangoon but recently tired crab for the first time and loved it so I was excited to try a crab Rangoon but little did I know there wasn’t even one peice of crab in the 3 Rangoon I ordered. If I wanted a cream cheese Rangoon I would’ve went to Panda Express they taste way better there anyways this is so ridiculous considering it was 3.25$ for 3 Rangoon

I have always enjoyed Sun Garden until tonight. I placed a order at 8:01 at 9:20 im 5 miles away…a driver that couldn’t speak English walked to my door. And He wasn’t chinese . My food was cold and not sure what they sent but its wasn’t is triple mangolian like I ordered. There shrimp Fried rice has always been white rice. This time it was brown. Basically I paid $40 for a very bad experience. The owners have always been who ran the place. That didn’t seam to be the case tonight. I will be going by there next week to speak with the owner.

Well during times of COVID I’m even more particular about eating out, which I rarely do anyway. I was extremely unsatisfied with this restaurant. We were the only people that were present but had to sit beside the area where you walk in due to the “air flow.” Then after we sat down he attempted to hand us paper menus that were on another table and visibly used/handled by a few previous people. The food wasn’t great and the plate pictured is teriyaki chicken that came with no pineapple and extra mushrooms, who puts mushrooms in teriyaki chicken?!?! Then the egg roll of the other guest was COLD so they took it off her plate with tongs, put it on a small plate, went into the kitchen and heated it up in the microwave… that is surely not in accordance with COVID protocols. At this time I understand they have an “A” rating but I highly advise against eating here as they are careless about the necessary health/safety protocols that should be in place.

Rude, disgruntled service. I guess I was ordering delivery using a menu left at my house from a year ago, because the woman who answered the phone talked to me like I was ordering off the McDonald’s menu when I asked for spicy chicken and vegetables- directly from the menu. She said- “We have a lot of dishes with chicken and vegetables. Not sure what you mean” I asked if they had updated their menu and if so where I could view it. She said- “Door Dash, grub hub or come by the store to pick one up”. I gave in and ordered despite this hostile conversation and asked for an updated menu to be included with my order. The updated menu was not provided. We LOVED this place but will not be ordering from here again.
