Sue’s Thai Cuisine & Noodle Bar

  4.6 – 268 reviews   • Thai restaurant

I was classically trained as a chef, Graduating from SUAN DUSIT UNIVERSITY in Bangkok Thailand. Since I was a little girl I always enjoyed cooking with my mother. She taught me many of the family recipes that were handed down for generations that I serve to my customers. After working at several local restaurants I was able to open a food concession at the Pocono Bazaar Flea Market. The response by my customers was overwhelming. I was asked constantly when I was going to open a restaurant. And as they say the rest is history.

Food was authentic with fresh ingredients, I enjoyed the ramen bowl with pork belly and I topped it with their chili sauce for that extra kick. Had a nice glass of their Thai iced tea to wash it all down. Will definitely be coming back.

This place was a little gem. We tried the dumplings both fried and steamed, the taste was good though the dumpling meat in both versions was very dense. The Pad Thai was amazing, Umami!!!! The noodles were cooked perfectly, the sauce was slightly sweet, the pork was well cooked with the addition of fresh sprouts & peanut to round out a beautiful dish that I ate all of. The Shoyo Ramen was presented well, & the serving was large. The noodles again cooked perfectly, the broth was like chicken soup with less sodium. Unfortunately my company wasn’t thrilled with the pork belly due to the ratio of fat on the slices but the pork was delicious itself. The service was great, we will definitely return. I imagine others feel the same as the phone never stopped ringing & take away orders were flying out of the door.

This is housed in and old diner on a busy roadside North of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Don’t let the slightly run down exterior deter you. The food was excellent. Service was excellent, and the food came out piping hot.

What a find! We sadly live 3 hours away or else this would be a regular stop. Everything is freshly-made. The curry puffs were delicious, so was the red curry. I especially liked that you could order a small or large curry portion. Small was shareable if you supplement with an appetizer (for lunch). My two picky daughters loved the chicken satay! Really, really good food, so don’t judge it by the looks from the outside or inside. Very, very excellent.

A beautiful surprise in the Pocono mountains, close to Bushkill Falls attractions. Authentic taste, friendly service and delightful dining area. My favorite is the mango sticky rice. Would recommend!

We usually order for pick up on the way home from work. Each time we have ordered the food was spot on and delicious! One of the best Thai places in the area. As far as price, it’s fair compared to other Thai places. The we plan to visit in person for a dine in experience, but overall a great place to choose if you are in the mood for good, Thai food!

Have eaten here twice in two weeks. Staying in the Poconos. Went to get dinner last Sunday and wanted to eat in however arrived after 7pm which is the last sitting. You can still get takeout until 8pm which we did. We ordered the Sue’s Special Glass Noodle stir fry medium spicy and the Red curry vegetarian which comes jasmine rice.
