I had a really disappointing experience at Subway. The place wasn’t clean, which made me question the hygiene, and the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when the environment and service are so unwelcoming. Definitely not going back to this location anytime soon.

The owner male cashier was very unfriendly.
The servers were kind.
I had a footlong subway but made me sick for two days, making me throw up the whole time. Luckily my partner didn’t eat the other half. It could have been the vegetables or steak, though it looked fresh.

Staff was shockingly rude when we requested them to please change their gloves for our vegetarian sandwich. First the lady at the counter frowned heavily then reluctantly and angrily changed her gloves. When she handed over to the next person I had to request again. Now both women were angry! So much so they questioned our request and for a moment no one wanted to make a sandwich anymore. Well.. we were happy to leave if you did not have a vegie sandwich on the menu we would have never shown up in the first place. But as the staff had used up a bread and we did not want to leave without paying my husband and I peacefully explained our obvious need to not eat meat, while our vegetarian American born kids watched with surprise. The billing manager stepped in said a lot of sentences while angrily looking at me but I could not hear anything in the noise of the food court. She then angrily put on gloves as the person who was going to do our sandwich was so mad she stepped off. The billing manager put together our food. When we moved to billing our sandwich was thrown from about 4 ft towards us. She did not ask if we needed a drink or needed a receipt. Again, the she was super upset when my husband requested a receipt – and once again threw one at him!! My 10 year old American kid said ‘wow’. I haven’t seen this before’. Personally, I have lived in this country for 24 years now and this is my first – should I say fortunately!? I and my family see this episode as racist and unprofessional both at the same time.
I have reported this episode to Subway management’s attention. I and my family see this episode as racist and unprofessional both at the same time. I will update here if they take action on my complaint.

The Subway outlet at the Food Court in Seattle Premium Outlets falls short of the brand’s usual standard, delivering a less-than-satisfactory dining experience. While Subway typically offers a reliable option for a quick and customizable sandwich, this particular location has several issues that detract from its appeal.

Food Quality:
The quality of the food at this Subway outlet is disappointing. The bread often seems stale, lacking the fresh, soft texture one expects from Subway. Ingredients like vegetables and meats appear less fresh than they should be, and the overall taste of the sandwiches is underwhelming. Despite the standard menu, the execution here leaves much to be desired, with some sandwiches feeling hastily assembled and lacking the balanced flavor typical of a good Subway sandwich.

Service:
Service at this location is notably inconsistent. During peak times, staff seem overwhelmed, leading to long wait times and a rushed, less attentive service. Mistakes in orders, such as incorrect toppings or forgotten items, are not uncommon. While the employees are generally polite, the efficiency and accuracy of service could be greatly improved.

Cleanliness:
Cleanliness at the Subway outlet is another major issue. The preparation area often looks cluttered, and the tables and seating in the immediate vicinity are sometimes left dirty and not promptly cleaned between customers. This detracts from the dining experience and raises concerns about overall hygiene standards at the location.

Ambiance:
The ambiance of the Subway outlet within the Food Court is quite basic and uninviting. With the hustle and bustle of the surrounding Food Court, there is little effort made to create a pleasant eating environment. The seating area is often crowded and noisy, making it difficult to enjoy a meal in peace.

Value:
While Subway is generally known for offering decent value for a quick meal, the quality and service issues at this location make it hard to justify the cost. Even though the prices are standard for Subway, the compromised food quality and poor service diminish the overall value, making it a less appealing option compared to other choices in the Food Court.

Convenience:
The one positive aspect is the convenience of its location within the Seattle Premium Outlets Food Court. It’s easily accessible and provides a quick option for shoppers looking for a familiar meal. However, the convenience is overshadowed by the subpar food quality and service.

Conclusion:
The Subway outlet at the Food Court in Seattle Premium Outlets unfortunately does not live up to the brand’s usual standards. With issues ranging from stale ingredients to inconsistent service and lackluster cleanliness, it fails to provide a satisfying dining experience. While it may serve in a pinch for a quick sandwich, there are better alternatives within the Food Court that offer fresher food and more attentive service. For now, this Subway location needs significant improvements in several areas to match the expectations of its customers.

Staff has lot of attitude and misbehave when you request them to change gloves due to allergy and cross contamination.

This was in fact, a subway sandwich. But the staff gave minimal meat, vegetables, sauce… and when I asked for “a little” more, they became unsettled and irritable. For reference, the 6” I just ate… fit entirely in my palm.

I wouldn’t be writing a review but the cashier tossed my sandwich at me as if I was an inconvenience for being a customer. The location was not busy, and staff seemed untrained and angry.

Next time will not purchase anything if the lady is still here

I’m not happy with the service. The lady would not honor the foot long sub deal for the month of February. The meat amount was significantly lower than normal. And she was rude about the coupon I showed her and said this subway does not honor it. What? It says all subways on the coupon and it was online on there specific Facebook page as well. It was a loss cause because she chose to not understand my English. Very frustrating when her position is to understand English and customer service in America. Rant is over. Bad customer service, To say THE least, and warning the public that subway coupons are not allowed at this location.

Extremely RUDE staff!! Asked for veggies and the woman rolled her eyes and barked “anything else?!” The staff here needs to learn what customer service is and not take their anger out on customers.
