I used to come here a lot. But the quality of the sandwiches is just plain out horrible. They skimp on EVERYTHING when it comes to veggies. When your paying $10+ for a footlong and you see them short you tomatoes and even lettuce, it’s repulsive. At this point, I’m boycotting this restaurant and tell everyone else that goes there to save their money. They are serving service men and women or contractors, they should take some pride in their work.

This place is crazy! I’ve never seen a subway move a line so fast! 20 people in line? 3 minutes in and out, easy. Better know what you want before you’re in the front, it’s moves fast! Probably the most efficient subway I’ve ever been to.

I just had a rude encounter with one of the employees at this subway. It was my first time coming to this subway. The attitude and hostility of the female employee was too much. Even the other customers looked taken aback. And she just slapped the sandwich together. I couldn’t even enjoy my sandwich. Definitely not going back. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and isn’t like that all the time

I go here often, however, after today I don’t know if I can go back. Let me start by saying I should have said something when it happened, however, it was late and there was a line. I watched as the employee checking people out took a customers payment of CASH and then proceeded to complete other customers subs with OUT changing his gloves. This would gross me out pre-covid but it really grosses me out now. There should be constant glove change when working in food service and definitely after handling cash!

I know every time I come here for lunch that the service will be both good and very quick because of the workers moving quickly to keep up with the lunch rush and I’ve always appreciated the fast service. That being said, I think newly budding sandwich artists should probably be a little more careful while helping with the lunch rush; upon returning to work with my order, the bread was torn in multiple places and wrapping of the sandwich was skewed, causing the inside of the bag (and subsequently the napkins) to be smeared with sandwich innards. Otherwise great sandwich tho, five stars for taste

Today a young woman with short blonde hair made my sandwich so much care and finesse. Perfect portions, evenly spread guacamole, and tenderly applied chipotle sauce. The employees at this location really care about their customers. I rarely eat at Subway restaurants but, if this is the standard, I will definitely be back soon.

A very small Subway located in the NEX gas station. At first I was skeptical due to the size and knowing that it would be busy because it’s located on base. When I walked in the line was wrapped twice. I thought it was going to take forever. I was wrong. I’ve never seen a lunch rush crowd move so fast. The workers had it down to a science and acted as an assembly line that I’m sure Henry Ford would be proud of. And they managed to do this while maintaining the signature Subway quality. I highly recommend this location if your on base during lunch.

Subway on Norfolk Naval Base is Clean, fast Paced and ready to serve you with a smile! I rated it a 5Star because of the number of customers coming in this establishment and being served so quickly. It’s amazing how quickly the employees put together and roll or wrap sandwiches so quickly made to order! Thumbs up to you all! Go in and get served by a great team at Subway.
