Our first time dining here and after hearing about this place and reading all the great reviews, we weren’t disappointed. The atmosphere and service are great! I have a seafood/shellfish allergy and presented my allergy card to the server, who ensured me there would be no cross contamination, and there wasn’t.
We enjoyed the Pork Chive Dumplings, Sauteed Green beans and Hong Kong style chow mein. The first two were my absolute favorites. The chowmein was good, but the beef wasn’t cooked to my liking, not cooked enough. The veggies were delicious but I thought the noodles were a bit greasy.
This place is definitely a repeat and I’m glad we went right after they opened because we got the last open table. I’m disabled and there was plenty of room for my power wheelchair.

I love dumplings. Yang Kee has yummy dumplings and many more delicious dishes. I like their XLB and Pan Fry Pork Buns the most. The services at Yang Kee Dumpling are also excellent. The workers are friendly and attentive. The dining room is well laid out and comfortable. I had a very enjoyable meal.

Wonderful restaurant. We’d pass by so many times, but today worked up an appetite after working out. We ordered the Wonton Noodle Soup, Beef Black Bean Chow Fun, Chicken Curry Plate and BBQ Fried Rice. The staff was attentive and everything tasted delicious. My mom is pretty picky when it comes to Wonton soup and she says the best in Davis is at Yang Kee. We’ll be back to try the dumplings next! Restaurant is clean and inviting.

Finally tried Yang Kee Dumpling and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food dishes and friendly service. The server, Andy recommended the house special fish fillets. Large, tender pieces of fish coated with a savory garlic sauce was incredible! The XLB were tender and tasty and the garlic noodles were accompanied by fresh vegetables. This place fills up quickly – use their waitlist to shorten your wait time.

Always good! Clean restaurant, good service, great yummy food. Our favorites are their soup dumplings (original or truffle both great, better than Ding Tai Fung tbh), garlic string beans (so fresh every time), garlic noodles, walnut shrimp, fried mantou, Hong Kong style milk tea service is good and efficient. Good to see a young, energetic, polite and efficient front of house team.

Amazing place to grab dinner while waiting for a Tesla supercharging session. I think all their dishes are fantastic but enjoyed the stir fried noodles, green beans, chili wontons, soup dumplings, and custard buns. Quick service reasonably priced.

Dumpling+Noodle Soup, Ma Po Tofu, 6 (!) Baked Pineapple Bao, and iced Black tea.
Superior Ma Po Tofu. Has real sizhuan peppercorn. Excellent Pork. Corect consistency. Not too oily. Flavor was wonderful. Not very spicy, but easily fixed. The quantity was very large, this was two meals
The pineapple Bao was excellent, good custard, subtle flavors.
Loved the Soup (with extra chili oil).
Meal was $56. In this area that is bargain territory.

My daughter told me to go here just to look at the wall mural! She forgot to tell me how delicious the food is! I was disappointed that I was unable to photograph it because the seats were all occupied in front of it. We arrived a few minutes after they opened at 11 and there were already 3 large tables full of diners. We were going to just get spring rolls but they didn’t serve them so we ordered vegetable dumplings and bao. We had never had bao so can’t comment on quality but they were very tasty but doughy. The dumplings however were a ten out of ten! I would come back just for those. We noticed other food being served and it all looked scrumptious!
Server was outstanding and restaurant was very clean. Their kitchen is in the dining room so you can watch them prepare your food. It’s a small space so I imagine it gets full quickly.

I was very happy with the food, my stand out favorite was the Salt & pepper fried pork ribs. They were tender, juicy, crispy. Definitely hit the spot
