Wow! This place was phenomenal. Great service, great food, and super accommodating. We canceled at another restaurant (Shinsei) because of bad service, and it was the right choice for us!

Cozy and nice atmosphere, a sushi bar plus a separate full service bar. The sushi quality was good with a decent variety in special rolls, traditional rolls, and nigiri. Get the Rainbow Press roll, 10/10. Cocktails were great. Good date spot or family dinner.

Steel Sushi is on the pricier end of sushi in DFW. However, their sushi is very fres, soft, and nearly melts in your mouth. Whay I ordered also had good flavor and less common fish. If you don’t mind paying a little more for high quality, it’s definitely worth checking out. They also validate your parking if you use the garage.

I have been a regular here for 10+ years. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy yet still upscale. The food is always fresh and delicious. Luis is an outstanding waiter, so courteous, kind, and attentive! This is one of the best places to eat fresh sushi in Dallas!

Took 3 colleagues here for dinner on a Wednesday night, and I can honestly say this was some of the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The flavor was bland at best and the wait time was over an hour despite there being hardly any other customers dining in. I should have known by the large number of open tables compared to other sushi places that this was not the place to go. I will not be going back.

This place is strictly ok. Yes the food is good but not superb. Same with the service – it’s fine. I ordered the crab shots, pistachio salad and cherry blossom roll (this could likely feed 2 people comfortably). The rice of the sushi was a bit mushy. The steak on the salad was yum but the leaves seemed a bit wilted. Lastly, the crabs shots were solid – my favorite of the three. The curry liquid juxtaposed well against the saltiness of the crab meat. Overall fine food. I likely wouldn’t go back

Came here for happy hour; didn’t realize the portion sizes would be smaller. Waiter was quick and attentive.

On 10/04, I had a reservation at 7PM — from the moment I walked in, they were all so attentive & welcoming. My sister & I enjoyed every meal, & it came out very prompt. Their drinks are great as well, especially their lychee martini (& I’ve had a lot of different lychee martinis from other establishments). The food, staff, & ambiance = 10/10.

This sushi wasn’t anything special. I got the firecracker, summer roll, and hand pressed rolls. Salmon sashimi was the best thing we got – very fresh and delicate. Pretty expensive. We also got the wagyu hot rock (not worth 25$) and chicken fried rice (basically flavorless). If you do get the hot rock then I suggest not using the salt seasoning. Way too salty and can’t taste any of the flavor of the sauce. There wasn’t any dish that I felt was extremely special. Favorite rolls was probably the firecracker and the hand pressed sushi. We got the lollipop lamb which was well flavored but it was kind of tough rather than tender. Not much meat on the bones either.

We dined in the wine room for a friend’s birthday dinner and it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. We waited over an hour for our first round of drinks and about 1.5 hours for any type of food. When the bottle of wine we ordered finally came, the waitress opened and poured it still standing OVER me, spilling several drops of red wine onto my light colored jeans. I received soda water and a napkin to clean it off with no ownership or apology. The sushi rolls were mediocre at best. Avoid this place like the plague!
