Nearly $7 for this greasy tossled dish of noodles that was throughly disgusting. If I had the time I would of spent another 20+ min waiting in the drive thru to hand it right back for a refund. This was horrible!

Gone is the friendly atmosphere, you are forced to use the Kiosk to order food. Then they can’t pronounce your name, food that’s not cooked completely, is served cold. And they have the audacity to ask for tip. When the customer complained! The manager insulting and called the customer names. I guess the customer is not right………I will never give a steak and shake another dime. After reading the reviews I don’t know why I went. Spend your hard earned money on a place that has enough respect to take food orders by a real human. Another job gone, so CEO,s get richer!

Burgers were good. No ketchup but provided the “to go” packs. 3 of their syrups for soda machine ran out. When we asked for ketchup/soda, lady said there was no time for them to replace the pump or soda machine. Floors were sticky, ladies bathroom was dirty too.

The food and shakes tasted good, but we were missing items and half the orders were wrong, one way or another. When we went to see about our missing food, ilwe stood there for a while before anyone noticed. All orders are placed at kiosks, so people don’t watch for people at the counter.

I was unable to even get my order out through the drive through before the woman working the speaker kept cutting me off with “is that all?” I had to explain to her that I had a few more items to order prior to completing my order and she expressed frustration with me as if I was inconveniencing her for placing an order.

I miss what Steak and Shake used to be, and I had forgotten why I stopped eating there. Friscos used to be on sourdough, now it is on white bread. The chili tasted scorched, and the shake was too thick. (On this point, making milkshakes is an art, and there is that perfect point of being thick and drinkable through a straw…S&S has lost it.) The food is average. I miss the diner atmosphere with a funny (but surly) server taking the order and serving the food. The way they are set up now, they are average to below average with nothing special. I guess it is a casualty of COVID.

My son and I ordered same burger 10:30 pm, we were super hungry from traveling having not eaten since breakfast. An hour and a half later he was violently throwing up and I was shortly after. Sick all the next day, never again. I would give minus stars if I could. We now call it scarf and barf, wonder how the other people we saw ordering in front and behind us in line did. A big NO!!
