The food was good but my order was off. I watched the manager yell at one of the new employees which is probably why my order was messed up. There are no cashiers anymore, you place your order using kiosks only. There is no interaction with anyone who works here. Everyone is in the back. The store was nasty, the sweet tea was not sweet at all. The bathrooms were gross. It’s as if the workers stay in the back and never come out to the dining room to check on anything. The burgers and fries were cold. I got the garlic butter steak burger and it was gross. I was expecting a garlic butter toasted bun, not a glob of garlic butter as if it were mayonnaise, with a big glob coming out of the burger when I took a bite. This store are ruined me on coming back to a steak n shake.

The best thing about the food was the burger. The fries taste like they’ve been cooked in weeks old grease. I was little disappointed in the food after waiting 2 days for opposing reasons. 1 day they didn’t open till 2 then they didn’t accept credit cards on another day.

Had to order at the kiosk which didn’t bother me. The food was good, but after touching that kiosk I wanted to wash my hands before eating. No soap in either bathroom (husband couldn’t wash his hands in the men’s) and both of the sanitation stations were out of hand sanitizer. Was just stopping through on our way to our vacation place. Won’t stop here again.

Service was by the automated KIOP I requested a print receipt It was out of paper I stood waiting for my food and it’s like the employee came out dropped my food on the counter with my name No thank you come back no smile it’s like made me feel like a major inconvenience that he had to serve me. People could really use some good customer service training especially when I’m paying over $6 for a hamburger that was cold.
