We visited Steak and Shake around 4 in the afternoon. There was only only 1 other customer there. Prices have risen but are still reasonable. The choice of steakburgers is good and includes a generous serving of fries.

Not only was I served slimy lettuce but there was a hand written sign on the menu board saying “sorry no shakes” I didn’t ask any questions but somehow the car in front of me got a shake.

Although the place shows “wear and tear” and might need a little update, it’s operated by hard working crew, trying to make this a positive experience. Food is good and affordable but be ready to wait forever. Only one car in front of me in the drive thru and it took 20 minutes for a burger, fries and shake! Every time I come here the wait is ridiculous. But at least the wait staff is nice. Please be faster. I would eat here more often than once every couple of months.

Did this place close?? As we tried to go through the drive through and go inside. Dining room was not open and no one was there to take our order at the drive through, we drove around the building and it was all dark inside, saw no one through the windows and most shades were pulled down over windows. This was about 11:15am when they were to be open

First time we’ve gone to a steak and shake, and first time I’ve ordered a garlic burger anywhere. The burgers were fantastic, the shoestring fries were great and loved the milk shake. These things combined with the great customer service, I think we now have a new favorite restaurant , when we go visit Augusta , Georgia. Will definitely return next trip.

Ordered triple burger fries and a shake, without the bun. Waitress was good, took order and turned it in, never received shake. Removed from my bill. Talked to manager, sorry, only two people working back here. Another man before me didn’t receive his shake either. Fire manager, please or change the name to steak and fries.

My single burger was Delicious. Our server was very helpful with suggestions and very nice. My only 2 issues was the cheese for fries was slightly orange brownish, which could mean 1 of 2 different things and the floors needed to be swept. But that’s me. I do recommend Steak ‘n Shake. 4 Stars
