I had a really rough day today – had to say goodbye to my foster kittens early, take my boy kitty for four shots, witnessed a poor old dog who came in to be put down because she couldn’t stand anymore, and plus I just had to apply for food stamps because ends aren’t meeting. The baristas didn’t know any of this, but I told someone who had just gotten a matching tattoo that I’m non-binary and plan to get a matching tattoo with my trans sister, and they comped my pumpkin bread and I almost cried again. Angels working here.
