I love this location. Joe is so nice every morning. Today they messed up and made my hot drink as an iced. I would’ve just taken it and not said anything. However Sara at the window caught it. They then offered me the iced one at no charge and made my order correctly all with smiles and total professionalism. Most miserable starbucks to go to. They are very slow. Manager that was on duty last time was a woman in her late 30s early 40s is very rude and wouldn’t help out the baristas at all. She literally just stood there watching them. We go there once a week or every 2 weeks. My daughter had a free starbucks coffee for her birthday, so we were wanting to surprise her and drove the 30 minutes there so she could get it on her birthday. Her phone wasn’t very charged but you could still read it. She confirmed the birthday on the app and even got the barcode to pull up, but the scanner couldn’t read it bc the Brightness wouldn’t go anymore because of the charge. She told us she couldn’t do anything about it and to come back once we got it charged. We came back an hour later after wandering around town waiting on her phone to charge, went back and scanned it. Waited 20 minutes to get her drink while the manager held up the wall, watching everyone else work.

This Starbucks location really needs to get their management in order. Their hours in the past have had last minute changes, that have ranged from 2 to 5 hours early. I’m not sure if this has been fixed or not but today they have a sign that says “only accepting drive through orders” like okay, that’s fine, but the door is locked. I literally just wanted to sit down and do my homework on my laptop in the lobby. This is ridiculous. Based on what I see there are 3 workers here, there’s no reason that they could not have opened their lobby.

I travel for work and get the chance to be a part of really great service with the Starbuck’s stores. I had a bad experience at the Seymour store with Jenna, sadly. Apparently, paying $3+ to fill my re-useable cup with drip coffee doesn’t mean I get the coffee of choice. She was ready to charge me $.58 for cream!. When I asked why because 2 inches of cream is standard, she said, “ she would not charge this time.” There is something wrong here… I’ve never felt like a customer who needed to advise that service was not good at a Starbuck’s. I’m glad I won’t return to this location and experience service like this again. Perhaps some staff education is necessary?

Pulled off the highway to get coffee and use the restroom. The doors were locked, drive thru only open. Got a coffee which was barely warm. Went back around to the window to get a new, hot coffee, which I did after several minutes. Tried to give the cold one back and they wouldn’t take it! Because of ..covid? Anyhow, not the greatest Starbucks I’ve ever visited.
