It is always pretty crowded in here since it is combined with a chick-fil-a so not the best place to go for a quiet coffee. Because so many people do frequent here it seems like they are always out of something which can be kind of disappointing. Other than that though the staff is always nice and everything comes out in a timely manner. They also support Boost so if you are in a rush you can order ahead and have it waiting for pickup when you get there which can be very helpful.

Ordered an iced sugar free vanilla latte. It came with whipped cream on top (has sugar in it). Asked for it to be remade and came back with caramel in it (also has sugar in it). If you are diabetic skip this Starbucks. Really disappointing.

Delicious coffee, piping hot, with tasty, but pricy menu items. Busy place, especially when exams are looming. Their hours have improved, but call ahead if you are stopping by in the summer or winter as hours are influenced by UMBC’s academic calendar.

The service is a bit slow due to them having only two registers yet having thousands of eager college students wanting their hot delicious Starbucks Coffee. The baristas are very nice and will get your order completed as quickly as they can. If you are a student you can use your “Flex” cash or “Mealplan ($5.80)” to pay for your drinks and food. They are open Monday-Friday and Sunday (but sadly they are closed Saturday). Overall I have had a great experience every time I go to UMBC’s Starbucks…

BARISTA BRAD. He was friendly and willing to listen to my ridiculous questions and requests. He was welcoming even though I came in tonight 30 minutes before closing. I appreciate him a lot as I am a cafe employee myself who gets the struggle. Hes good and the drinks are good too. Made me a purple drink.

Today. 1/12 I have the most incompetent service I’ve ever had at any Starbucks in my life. Now I’m never one to complain but this was pretty stupid. In a nut shell because Ill just rant for hours. The service was slow and ill-trained. The cashier carried on a conversation with a customer for 5 mins. I watched the minutes tick by. Then THEY LOST MY CUP!!!!! How!? Then they found my cup. WOOPEEEEE. So now I have to wait another 5 mins for her to MAKE THE DRINK. HOOOOOWWWW!!! I mean seriously. She was so slow, it was like she picked the ice cubes out one by one and put them in the blender. And the best part!

Yes it’s on a college campus, yes its meant for college students, it does take a few extra minutes at certain times in the day but the staff is always amazing and the drinks are always good.
