Rice and peas & oxtail are not really that good. Rice & peas were dry, tasteless and felt like it’s been sitting out, oxtails felt fatty and consisted of mostly bones and not good. Cabbage was tasteless and too soggy. Didn’t meet my expectations compared to the other Jamaican restaurants I’ve ate at. But plantains and bbq chicken was good! But upset because I asked for a lot of plantains and was only given 2.. not exactly sure why to that, hope you guys can pay attention in the future to modifications customers want to add. But I will not be ordering here again, and also for future customers.. do not recommend! There are better places. Whoever is in charge of cooking the rice & peas or Jamaican food here are putting the Jamaicans to shame.

Update: The quality of the meat has gone downhill. The flavor is great still but the last couple times, my chicken was too dry to eat and my husband’s goat was rubbery.

WILL BE RETURNING. Had my 1st experience this evening and i must say that im very pleased. Customer service was grade A. Portions are great.Ordered large oxtail and large curry goat. Both are very tender and well seasoned. cabbage is wonderful as well as oxtail and rice and Plantains. I snuck a piece of my husband’s goat and its awesome as well. Clean atmosphere.

I will NOT be coming back. It does not even deserve the one star I had to give it. I got the Oxtail with White rice, plantains, cabbage & carrots and Potato Salad. Husband got Jerk Chicken, Yellow Rice & Cabbage and French Fries. The oxtail is so fatty, got 2 slices of a plantain and the potato salad was salty. Husband said the french fries were not cooked properly, burnt and under seasoned. The cabbage was salty. The Jerk chicken was dry. We do NOT recommend!

Very very disappointed again…… First time we bought goat curry and oxtail with rice that was tasteless jerk chicken today oh my God I don’t know what I am eating my six years would cook better than this cook……. Please change that cook, today food tasteless again your jerk chicken is very very dry, the rice is look and taste like 2 or 3 days ago it was cooked, The spinach and okra is one of the worst that I ever eaten You guys need to do better than this!!!!smfho I would never ever buy from you guys again respectfully…..

I ordered jerk chicken last Friday from Doordarsh and it was absolutely delicious…. I go into re order the same thing today and as I am waiting I hear the microwave go off…. she then brings my food out, package it and gives it to me. I get home and eat my food and it tasted just like reheated chicken ♀️. The 1st time I ordered it the sauce was delicious and the chicken was soo juicy and falling off the bone, this time I did not have the same experience. The inconsistencies with the food is a problem for me and the fact that she reheated my chicken and gave it to me with no care in the world is beyond me. She could’ve reheated in the oven or something but I def. Can taste the chicken from the microwave

New to the area and decided to give this place a try, even though there were zero customers at the time, perhaps due to Covid. Ordered my favorite (Jerk Chicken) which came with rice/beans, plantains, and cabbage. Service was fast (I was the only customer at the time) and portions were good. Got way more rice/beans than cabbage, and chicken pieces could have been meatier. Food was tasty, although I think I was served chicken that was cooked much earlier, perhaps the previous day, and reheated. It wasn’t the best I’ve had but it wasn’t the worse. I’ll give them another try when they are busier. Perhaps the food will be more freshly made.

Worst food ever. Does not even deserve 1 star that I had to give. They do not offer refund for horrible food served. The Ox tail was nothing but fat and bone. They serve cheapest cuts of meats for high prices. Chicken was dry and fries were burnt by being baked. Fries are meant to be fried. Potato Salad my wife got had some much salt in it. The food made my stomach upset and nauseous. I will never recommend this place to anyone. DISGUSTING!!

These people do not know how to cook Caribbean food, being a Caribbean girl that’s not how you cook oxtail. Damm food don’t even have enough seasoning it taste more like pepper pot instead of oxtail. too expensive to taste like this I regret I even buy it.

I went to this place this week. It nice, clean, friendly guy on the counter who took our order. The served food in good portions but the way it was cook I don’t like it. The oxtail is hard, lots of BBQ sauce on them, cabbage is overcooked, red beans and rice is not fresh (dry). I won’t be coming back. And I won’t recommend it to anyone.
