They were very busy at our small town. Long drive through waiting. When I ordered the frosty drinks on the speaker it took long time to reach the pay window then the receiving winds and the drinks were melted not much but it shows they prepared it right a head with hot kitchen they melt. They are more interested and spend more time having you move out of the drive thru, direct you to your parking spot, to wait rather than actually prepare and deliver the food, almost as if they are traffic cops. Once you are in your spot, then be prepared to wait, as they are not that interested in getting you your food – you have already paid and are out of the way – and the kids will let you know the wait is too long. If you stay by the window, you get your food immediately – before all the people waiting in the parking lot.

This is by far the slowest McDonald’s I have ever been too idk if they are individually placing the sesame seeds on the buns themselves but I have waited over 15 minutes with only 1 other person in line. They have one speed, slower than dirt and they stick to it.

We have given this McDonald’s many tries and more times than not left disappointed. On two separate occasions we have pulled up to the order screen, saw the current bundle ‘deals’ they are offering, and attempted to order that deal. Both times the person at the cash register does not ring up the deal and says the reason why is that particular item is not listed on the deal. When in fact it IS listed. My wife took a picture of the bundle deal with a picture of the McChicken that we ordered and it was a part of the deal. My wife asked to speak to the manager and they tell her to pull forward and they will get her. The manager never shows and when my wife asks again about speaking with the manager, the employee says ‘for what?!’.. again this is the second time we were denied a bundle deal that is literally on the signage. Not to mention no matter how NOT busy they are you are waiting a very long time for food. Unprofessional, unreliable, and very slow. It’s a shame because Highland falls doesn’t have many fast food options.

This is by far the worst McDonalds in this geographic area. Notoriously long waits. Weekends are even worse. Employees brag about how nobody cares. I have personally witnessed employees walking on spilled food on the floor, rather than sweeping up the mess. It’s a captive audience for tourists visiting West Point . They know it and take full advantage of it. No other reason for it. Other McDonalds nearby are lighting fast and courteous. This one . . . long waits, cold food, messed up orders.

Ordered on the app. About 10 minutes before getting to McDonalds, then proceeded to sit on line at drive through for almost 5 minutes. Get to the speaker and inform them it was an online order and then was told to pull up to the second window. Get to the window and they say to pull into the mobile order waiting area. Mind you there are already 3 cars waiting in the spots. I am going on 5 minutes waiting here now, and NO FOOD. I will give another minute for my order or I am getting a refund. So if you are hungry and have time to waste, then this is the place to go.
