This place looks like it could have potential, but honestly, we threw everything but 2 biscuits and a scone away . We were traveling through and picked up sausage gravy and biscuits for 4 and a blueberry scone,$36 wasted . The Gravy was so watery/oily and did not taste good at all, tasted only of oil and flour. None of our 4 could stomach it. The blueberry scone was, however, thankfully good. Also, other reviews show donuts, but they allegedly haven’t sold donuts for years. It’s also called Hobnob now.

Great food at very good prices. Enjoy the southern cooking and rustic clean ambience. The server is very polite and the entire staff is friendly and polite. Hamburgers are great and you can make to order. my daughter had the biscuits and gravy he and she enjoyed it. I had heard about their good biscuits and they were right the biscuits are very good. They have homemade donuts daily and a drive-through for your convenience. Give it a try I think you’ll enjoy it.

We really enjoyed this new restaurant! My grandparents eat here almost every Sunday. Good portions and nice decor. The preteens inn or family love the nostalgic counter eating (plus they can be “cool” and sit away from the family) 🙂 will definitely visit again!

Restaurant was squeaky clean delightfully decorated with 50’s booths and stools. Portion sizes were a little small but tasty. Cheeseburger and Philly chicken sandwich. Onion rings were delicious, I recommended trying them. Servers were really nice and helpful. Prices were lower than expected in today’s environment. Small town has four very good restaurants to choose from. Try each!

Some of the best breakfast around! The BEST biscuits you can buy, I assure you; for real HANDMADE! Visited here with my wife and her parents; fish was also ordered and was as well a huge hit! Fantastic service and reasonable prices. I’d say Southern Maid gives me one more reason to look forward to visiting the in-laws! 😉 Will definitely be back!

Had egg shells come out in my eggs, table and seat were sticky and the service wasn’t that good also beware of the sweet gravy. The hash browns were the only think that were okay. 1 out of five stars it was horrible will not go back
