This is our new favorite place in Durant. AUTHENTIC Cajun food (best I’ve had since I left Louisiana), great service, and amazing drinks. If you haven’t been here, go today. Kirstin is an amazing server, with impeccable music taste, and a friendly soul! You have to stop by for the gumbo or boudin links.

I told the person at the register, ” If the food is made with love, I will know it and will pay for it and will show the love in return. I’m showing love by saying that after tasting the food, it was delightful. My husband and I have a collective of easily 40 years in the food industry, love and labor, like being the one smoking meat in the heat and the cold slow and low for a company in a shack with nothing but a heater. This food was wonderful. It reminded me of my husband’s smile I had not seen for food in so long time. Thank you for that. I missed it. I don’t cook much anymore. He is disabled and I’m just tired. Thanks for the smile. Also, the drinks are legit.

Wow! What a surprise! We thought this was going to be a little daiquiri shop but we were quite surprised to find that it’s really food with daiquiris on the side. Clearly someone has taught these people how to make jambalaya and gumbo! We also brought home crawfish pies and Natchitoches meat pies! THis tastes like home…IF your home is Louisiana (and mine is)! Their daiquiri flavors could use a little more variety but we will definitely be back!

They known what they are about. They have frozen drinks and they have cajun/creole food. The menu isn’t extensive on the food side, but they know how to make everything proper. The boudin link is the best tasting one I’ve had and appears to be hand-made.
