We sat at the bar as it was Valentine’s Day and we did not make a reservation. The bartender, she was outstanding. Friendly and joked even though she was super busy, she made us feel like we were a priority. I ordered the espresso Martini, it was the best I have had.
The calamari was delicious. Melt in your mouth. Our main entrees were specials from the Valentine’s dinner menu. They did not disappoint. We are looking forward to our next trip to the Canoe!

We had a lovely evening with friends. The service was exceptional. Jack was very attentive and engaging, but did not hurry us through our evening. The food was outstanding. The Guiness Stew starter was amazing, and our entrees did not disappoint. We had the swordfish special and mixed grill. Both were extremely memorable! We’ll done! Overall it was very affordable and top marks across the board. Highly recommend The Canoe for great food, outstanding service, at a good price!

Took a day trip: decided to stop for lunch at Canoe. Walkway in nicely landscaped. Not much for signage, looked closed. Inside basic decor.

Food was just average. Husband tried meatloaf, since it is one of his favorites. Loaf itself was nice and tender but he was not a fan of the large amount of spicy ketchup on top. It took away from the flavor.

Burnt ends i was not a fan but hubby thought they were good. Too fatty for me since they were made with pork belly.

Pizza advertised as wood fired traditional cheese. It was clearly a frozen 4 cheese pizza. Odd taste, definitely not as expected.

Though food was just okay. Our waitress Kissie was excellent. She was nice, attentive and very good at her job.

Always a great experience dining at canoe! This time I had the swordfish special and it was very delicious. Canoe chips are always a must! Healthy pours on the cocktails and friendly service.

Hands down the best food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. So many extremely good dishes at this place, and they are able to make them extremely good without compromising the integrity of the dish by using additives and other junk to make it taste better. Just high quality food.

We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday at Canoe last night. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect event! Reservations were made a month ahead to accommodate our party. We were allowed to bring in party favors and a custom cake. Our server, the food, the wine selections were all top notch. If you like great wine, ask to see the managers wine list. I highly recommend Canoe for a quiet evening out or a great party with friends. Thank you for taking great care of us.

The food is always great at Canoe. I’ve been here a number of times now, and have sat both downstairs and upstairs. Downstairs is quieter, but upstairs is lively and fun. I highly recommend the mixed grill – one of my favorite items on the menu! I also recommend making a reservation early, as they fill up very quickly – for a reason! Not inexpensive, but honestly, the quality of the food is so high, it’s absolutely worth going. You will be back.

You can’t go wrong with the Canoe. For a nice quiet atmosphere and excellent bartending I would recommend the downstairs bar; the bartender is a rare breed of fine gentleman, who whips up the best cocktails in the area.

My boss had taken myself and 2 other co workers to the Canoe for our Christmas dinner. We ordered a bottle, it was delivered with glasses promptly. We were 1 of 4 tables being helped at the time… so it was pretty slow but they had a party downstairs. We were taking our time and ordered the apps first, drank some and then finally ordered our dinner. We were informed the kitchen would close soon. The Canoe Chips were very crunchy and homemade taste, but definitely blue cheese. I ordered the pre-fixe menu. The braised beef app was so good! Again, so good with the ravioli. The cannoli I ordered to go- was eh okay not the best I’ve had. I would rate my experience a 4/5 due to slow service knowing the fact the fact the kitchen was closing. Kinda felt like our server disappeared for a while, but the food was pretty decent. Would I come back? Sure.
