Called last minute, and they were able to get us in for a hightop in the bar area. Everyone was very friendly. Joe, our server did an excellent job. He was extremely busy, but still took care of our needs. The canoe chips were my favorite, and I also had the turkey tips which I thought were pretty good. My wife had a Pasta seafood dish that she really liked with the exception of the sun-dried tomatoes. Overall a nice atmosphere in good experience.

Our food was incredible, as was our server. She accommodated our groups allergies and shared with us about her own food allergies. She was personable, friendly and all around great. The manager was also great, updating us on why our table wasn’t immediately available at the time of our reservation. It was a busy Friday night, but it was nice to have the updates on when we could expect to be seated.

Excellent service by Emma, who was attentive, efficient and friendly. My seafood stew was outstanding with fresh giant shrimp , tender calms, and soft scallops. My partner had the meat platter, which was very good, although one of the beef tips was chewy and not edible; overall, 5 stars. Mixed drinks were creative & delicious

We were vacationing up in the area and tried Canoe one night and thought the food delicious, atmosphere was nice and we had a female waitress who was just lovely. We decided to return just 3 days later before we returned home.

Been a long time since i have been in the area. Happy to finally have a reunion with Canoe’s lobster mac and cheese. That was lunch and dinner for me. Spectacular. And the build your own bloody Mary was real treat

We eat out often at O Steak & Seafood in Laconia and we were excited to try Canoe, however this was probably one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a while. Our reservation for 2 people was at 7:30PM. We got there on time but they were backed up so we didn’t seat until 7:50PM which is okay. However, we did not receive our first bite of food until 8:40PM. The waitress forgot to put in our appetizers so when we got our food it was straight to dinner. I had asked for the ribeye special with no blue cheese and it still came with it. The food and cocktails was extremely subpar compared to any other magic foods restaurant. I am a business owner with multiple locations and I understand managing growth is tough but I hope magic foods can get a handle on their operations as they expand.

My boss had taken myself and 2 other co workers to the Canoe for our Christmas dinner. We ordered a bottle, it was delivered with glasses promptly. We were 1 of 4 tables being helped at the time… so it was pretty slow but they had a party downstairs. We were taking our time and ordered the apps first, drank some and then finally ordered our dinner. We were informed the kitchen would close soon. The Canoe Chips were very crunchy and homemade taste, but definitely blue cheese. I ordered the pre-fixe menu. The braised beef app was so good! Again, so good with the ravioli. The cannoli I ordered to go- was eh okay not the best I’ve had. I would rate my experience a 4/5 due to slow service knowing the fact the fact the kitchen was closing. Kinda felt like our server disappeared for a while, but the food was pretty decent. Would I come back? Sure.

Amazing drinks and food, great seating, and great service. It took a little long for the waitress to get to us but it was clear they were understaffed.

We’ve been to the Canoe Restaurant & Tavern in Center Harbor, NH quite a few times over the past several years. Because of the pandemic we chose to utilize their take-out service the past 3 times. Just a few hundred yards away is the town beach, docks and boat ramp which has a very nice view of the lake. We typically park there and enjoy our food. I typically get the Chicken Parmigiana dinner, yet the Kobe burgers have also been good.
