Chao, hearty, warm and good- just not my preferred meal. Authentic porrige with blood sausage and intestines, has a meaty taste with a hint of onion. The durian jello pudding here is excellent, it includes cherries and logan. Eat out of styrofoam dishes, but that’s alright-easy cleanup for a very casual atmosphere. Tables are placed as an afterthought for people that like to dine and dash. Good experience but I won’t be eating it again. Delicious for what it is. 🙂

Where would you go go to get a big bowl of tasty Chao long for less than $4.50. This is one of the cheapest meal I’ve encountered where the portion is decent and the food is great tasting. I love this! Highly recommend.

Very small place to sit down for Chao (porridge). I ordered Chao long & ga to go & waited for 20 minutes. Chao long was the best & packed with intestines, pork blood, & sausage. Chao ga was ok not as smooth as Chao long, more rices & thicker, but the chicken meats were so good. Overall great place for Chao long. Lots of vietnamese tourists stopped by for intestines, cha, bo la lot, sausage, be thui to go. Decent price. But expect long line.

This is the 2nd time we have problems with their careless customer service. The first time was scale of less than 2 lbs of sausage, Today we bought 3 lbs of beef x $21/lb without giving us any sauce or anything to eat with, just only beef. It’s so ridiculous as we live very far away from San Diego, we can not come back to get what they missed giving us. If we want to buy beef only, it’s better to buy in Costco for less than half price. My son didn’t know they missed things in there as he trusted them by not checking the bag inside.
I am very mad for their very careless customer service so badly, they need to be educated more.
Please stop missing things when you sell to customers especially for very far away from your store.

So many Vietnamese stable foods tasted good to very good. Service is quick, very friendly at the good price.
I often bought fish porridge, Lemongrass sausages, and fried dough sticks, and many other items.
You should try at least one. This restaurant will win you over.

The store sells lots of traditional meats like innards, sausages, cha lua, liver. Their freezer display cases has cuts of raw meat.

I eat their congee “cháo lòng “ every week and add black sausages to it. I also buy their “chả lụa “ for home.

For a traditional breakfast, it’s good to warm your belly.

this evening I showed up at 6:30PM and they had take out only. Usually I’m there in the morning and a line would form but they’re pretty quick on service.

Interestingly, I see a lot of people buy their meat from their display case. Must be good quality and price since they would buy a bunch at a time.

People buy lots of the other items in the store and a busy worker has to restock the display cases all day long.

Personally I like their chao because it’s clean smelling and tastes authentic. They give you a lot of “stuffs”.

The store nextdoor on the left has really good fruits for sale.

The store on the right always has a long line for some reason but I never shop there. My friend does though. I have no idea what she buys.

I ordered a large bowl of soup on 4/20/21 and I only asked for liver, and Lemon grass sausage for my soup. I still have a receipt what I ordered correctly from the person who took my order. But, the cooks in the back are so ignorant, they give me a bowl of every piece of the internal of the pig which I was unable to chew on. Please look at your order before you start walking away. They just don’t care about their customers.

Every time I come, I get ripped off! Last time I paid for Cha Bong & Chao. Came home with only Chao. My son was sick so I totally forgot to look into my bag.

This place is very very dirty. The floor is dirtier than the sidewalk outside…they do not have AC on so it’s very humid inside….thus many of their products are spoiled/rotten…..

One of my family member bought a shredded-fried pork in a plastic container…and man it stinks…Brought the item back but they wouldn’t give us a refund…instead offered to exchanged for another item at a discounted rate….no thanks.

Do not eat or buy anything here unless you don’t value your health. I’m surprised the Health Dept hasn’t close down this place.
