I travel the country and get to eat in many different places ranging from large chain type restaurants to small hometown diners like this. Have been here 3 times over the past year when passing through the area and every time the food has been great, service is quick and efficient, and the atmosphere is like family. Love this place. Wishing the best to these people, Rain and Tammy, and their future in the business with Anita.

Stopped in for a quick bite while on a day trip. Perfectly located less than 2 miles off exit 27. The very definition of a quaint country diner. The food was excellent and Rain provided us with the very best service. I had the western omelette, which was cooked perfectly. Super friendly and def worth a try!

Cozy little place with fantastic breakfast. We each got a Sicilian omelette, which was deliciously packed with veggies and came with toast. The home fries were good, too! We were greeted at the door, served coffee and tea right away, and sat near the warm fireplace. One woman owns this place and does it all from greet you at the door to make your meal. Despite 4 groups coming in around the same time, she managed to serve us all with delicious food, accurate orders, and in a timely fashion. We’ll be back!

This is an atypical diner. Very homey feel. Everyone there is super welcoming. It might have been the day but our food took quite a while. For us that was just fine but someone used to the speed of many diners might be annoyed. We had breakfast, was hoping it would been better. I did see some burgers for lunch (I think that’s all they have for lunch are different burgers but I could be wrong) they looked really good. If you want a place to have breakfast or lunch where it feels like you can just hang out this is it.

Visiting the area for the weekend and found this charming place on a whim. The owner/cook is wonderful and friendly and so funny. Very talkative but we don’t mind as it made it even better. There is no menu, food list is on paper all over the restaurant which makes it different but in a good way. All food is made to order (except the desserts of course) and portions are a good size and the prices are reasonable. Will be going back again when we are in the area and it’s nice to go to a place and not feel like another customer but apart of the community.

The food is outstanding and the atmosphere like walking into mom’s living room with the whole loving family! The menu is memorably handwritten on construction paper taped to the wall and ceilings. Seating inside of about ten tables. Outside parking on gravelled lot. In November 2021, Larry Sharpe stopped here during his campaign for New York Governor.

What a great place to get breakfast. We visit once every 3 months when we’re in Amsterdam. The staff is always friendly, know our faces, and what we want to drink before were even seated. Food is always delicious. Our family always feel like they are at home. They always check up on you asking if your meal was good and to expectation, a few times they have made good on things that wasn’t as expected. Food is always delicious. Daily specials keep the mix interesting. The owner and her staff make this place an awesome small town experience.

Went to meet a friend for breakfast and decided to check this place out. I was in love from the minute I walked in. Anita seated us, took our orders and was cooking too. I went with the sausage gravy and biscuit with eggs and my date got the Sicilian omelette at Anita’s suggestion. The food was fantastic and you could tell Anita loves cooking for people and what she does. She sang us a song to go along with the Sicilian omelette but told us we’d have to come back for the second verse. This place is a gem and worth the drive. I can’t wait to go back to hear the second verse!
