Fantastic BBQ place! The coleslaw and garlic toast were great compliments to the meat. Pulled pork and ribs were my favorite on the plate. The smoke flavor and BBQ sauces are great, I would definitely recommend! My only criticism would be that the labels on the BBQ sauces at our table were all worn out so I couldn’t read them, this did impact my experience being a first timer.

Been going here 25 years. This was the worst visit. Air conditioning was barely working, very hot. Food was still not served after 45 minutes. We were seated in a mostly empty restaurant early, 430pm. Two other tables that came in after we ordered, received their food on time, before us. When I asked why the hold up, they said chicken is cooked to order and takes a long time? A chicken sandwich? After 50m the food arrived and was good quality. The server made numerous excuses as to why it took so long. She simply forgot to put the order in in my opinion. Manager comped half the meal. Should have comped the whole thing!

Sonny’s is my go too when I don’t feel like cooking or having a gathering. There are a few things that I don’t like as I was waiting to pick up my order there was 3 waitress at the register and all I heard was she will be right with you, I felt bad for her because she was already taking care of a customer ahead and I was also on a time frame. But they could have helped her with my order.

I love Sonny’s barbecue. I usually get my table quickly and service is fast. Food is served hot. I’ve tried quite a few different dishes from here and I have been happy with them all. They have a parking lot and a drive-through. I would definitely recommend and I will continue to dine here.

Good food overall, and friendly service. If you order drink they will offer to put it in a takeaway cup for you since they are so huge. The ribs had really good flavor. Chicken was moist but a bit bland. Sliced pork is forgettable, and pull pork was good but definitely need sauce to go with it. I would go back again. The garlic bread, beans, and cole slaw were all good.

Food was fresh and customer service was perfect. The lady checking us out was doing an amazing job. She was training a new employee and was so kind and patient. When an order was messed up she explained to the new guy with such respect and had it taken care of right away. It’s good to see great customer service and patience in today’s crazy world.

As I suspected there were not a whole lot of options for a vegan or vegetarian however there were enough to satisfy anyone’s appetite. My son absolutely loved the brisket! As for me I fell in love with the corn nuggets and the corn on the cob and the cornbread! The sauces are amazing as well. The price was reasonable and our server was delightful. I highly recommend checking it out! Great prices too!

I’ve eaten at Sonny’s my whole life and it’s always been my favorite. For the past couple of years the Port Orange location continues to disappoint me. The service at the drive through is basically non existent. I’ve gotten tired of waiting and finally driven away on multiple occasions. Trying to call in to make an order isn’t much better. Also trying to order online can be tricky as well. Many times it hasn’t allowed me to order brisket. It pains me to say that from now on I’ll just drive to 4-Rivers in Daytona.

Sadly it wasn’t good at all. Our food was room temperature and soggy. I’ve had much better BBQ. Our waitress Raven was really sweet so that helped. But over all I do not recommend.
