My waitress name was Ketsy I think she said she just started or said she was new but I couldn’t tell at all. She was so nice, and patient. She gave a lot of recommendations with options I didn’t even know was on the menu, since I’ve been a loyal customer here. She recommended the large big deal sandwich to my dad and once she said the drink is included that stole him. She also offered the family feast option cause there was a party of 5 of us and it feed the whole table and was able to bring a little extra home, she also got me to bring home a take home Sonny’s sampler, with her recommendation preferable 4 meat choices. The food here is very affordable, I felt so welcome when I walked in and out, the chicken was a little dry thou but besides that the service and atmosphere was extraordinary. Thank y’all 4/5 stars

Discovered this place drive through the area. The food was absolutely delicious! Our server, Ernestine, was friendly as well. It’s been 2 months since I stopped eating meat, but I had to try the smoked turkey; and it was SO worth it! They have four flavors of bar-b-que sauce to choose from on each table. I like the sweet or original flavor. Only thing missing were vegan options.

Sonny’s BBQ has been in business since 1968. The barbecue is outstanding. The smoked bone-in chicken breast, pork, beef, and ribs are all good with a firm smokey flavor. The sweet-hot sauce is especially good.

Went out to dinner with my family and we had a great time. The service was amazing, my son was crying a bit and everyone was super patient with us. They brought him paper and crayons, and a few asked if he was ok. My husband and I got their bowls and our kids got from the kids menu. The food tasted amazing and loved all the options. We’ll definitely be returning again.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fine, televisions in multiple locations. Service was unexpectedly poor. When we first arrived, we considered leaving based on what we witnessed. There were a couple of customers in the kitchen area picking up their food even though there is a completely separate pickup area. These people were looking into all of the different bags to see what was in them. Most of the bags were not theirs, so they were exposing the food for no good reason. But we decided to stick it out. We kept having different servers attempt to deliver items to us that were not ours. Seemed like no one used a table numbering system to keep track of who ordered or needed anything. I would still eat here in the future, but I’m not sure I would order anything to go. Try it for yourself!

On yesterday I ordered a rib plate from the Jonesboro location and my ribs were a bit dry (which was a first) so I called and asked for a manager and spoke with Andrea. She was very apologetic and told me to bring my receipt back with me next time I come and she’ll give me another plate. The food was superb the second time! This is what you call good customer service so thanks!! ❤️
