The two stars are only for the blast and the sweet girl in the window. This place is a mess. Filthy and in major disrepair. Even the tree out front is dead. There is so much trash everywhere, the menus are falling off the fixtures. They were even out of spoons and didn’t tell me till after I received my Blast. There’s no light in the back where the drive through is so it’s very dark and scary looking. Sonic, please fix this place up.

The food was terrible. They forgot the side sauces. The burger was dry, no mayo. The chicken wrap had dry tortilla, inedible chicken and no sauce. Do not go there. This was a waste of $30.00.

I’m still at sonic, I waited around 7 minutes at the parking and no one responded to the button, I pressed it again and a minute later they said we’re doing drive thru only. Went on drive through and waited more to Germany the order. When getting the order it wasn’t too pleasant service either but it was bareable. At the window, after waiting almost 10 minutes finally get our total which was more because a promotion wasn’t in place, I didn’t even get a chance to say cancel that because the worker just swiped my card without even asking because she was already away from the window. Then I got the food many minutes later and I got a spilled over shake and one that with the whipped cream didn’t even reach the brim of the cup. Didn’t get any napkins or sauces for our hotdogs because after handing the food they immediately retracted back without even asking for anything else or for someone to ask. Everytime is come I get such bad service compared to all the other Sonic’s in bakersfield. I’m never coming to this one for sure probably none others either.

Super slow. Spent over 45 minutes in the drive thru line. There was only 4 cars in line when I pulled up to order. Literally had to shut off my car every time a car moved up to avoid going through a whole tank of fuel while waiting for a single combo. Would not recommend this sonic. I would have left the drive thru if it wasn’t for the cement curb locking in their victims in line.

Took forever for some one to come to the window for me to pay. Then it took forever to get my food. Burgers had bad lettuce, drowned in mayo and the meat was dry and tasted reheated. I have never had such bad service or nasty food at any other sonic before.

We went to a booth no one answered for a good 10 mins but then said they were short staff and said drive thru only. We went trough the drive thru and Scarlet (I’m guessing the manager) was in there making all of the drinks. There were maybe about 6-7 cars behind us, there were only 2 people working. They still managed to get everything done. And we ended up having everything we ordered. If I were the owner I’d give both of them a raise. (Scarlet and the cook). Thank you Scarlet for working hard and getting things done :).

First of all the woman who takes orders though the speaker took a 20 minutes to finally get my order, while there cars behind us. Second the woman whos supposed to gives our food took a very long time. Third of all poor quality food. The popcorn chicken I got had barley any sauce.

Service has improved since my last review of this place. I still remember the days when it first came to Bakersfield though, I think it still needs a major management overhaul, but the food is great. Pulled into stall to eat in my car and recieved a bag to go.
