This place used to be halfway decent, standard food, but decent service. Now, however, they randomly shutdown their drive thru, or only serve through their drive thru and not the drive up locations. Or the service takes forever because they are short staffed. Barely worth the effort…

I gave food only 4 stars even though it tasted good enough for 5. The reason why I gave 4 was cz the cook didn’t fallow my pacific order. Thank God for good car hops cz Roman made sure the cook got it correct the second time. I ordered ahead on app. My ticket # was 5902 at stall # 5 tray: T6 drive in # 6318 date July 07- 2023

I’ve avoided this location due to how bad it is compared to every other Sonic I’ve been to but let a craving cloud my better judgement. Ordered a combo with a drink and a Reese’s blast and ended up throwing away everything. I was literally the only customer at the location and after a while the employee ran out with my food and apologized for how long the order took. The bun on the burger was rock solid, the patty was like a dry piece of stiff cardboard, the tots were limp, falling apart and damp with oil and the Reese’s blast was a cup of half melted vanilla ice cream. Was told to submit a complaint on the website and have been completely ghosted. I guess I learned a $13 lesson.

I sent a DoorDash order to a Rivian employee and he said that the fries were cold. I have put the order in a heated bag. The bag felt lukewarm when I received it. It was still lukewarm when I went to set it on the shelf in the lobby at Rivian. I would make sure the temperature of the fryer is at the appropriate level before frying.

Everytime we come here there is a sign somewhere stating they are understaffed, out of an item or just closed during business hours due to short staffing. They shouldn’t be open at all if they cant stay open during business hours.

The food was horrible. The pretzel buns were burnt, the chicken was inedible and I asked for ketchup multiple times in the order and never got any. We were literally the only people there. I could understand maybe a tiny bit more if they were busy but our food was the only thing you had to cook. So I waisted $25 dollars on food that was so bad it couldn’t even be eaten.

It was the most ridiculous experience ever at 10pm at night. First had to wait for the order taker then once I ordered two half off shakes I pulled up behind two other cars at the window who had ordered. After about 10 mintues of waiting the first car finally got their order and drove off waiting behind the 2nd car waited until 15 mintues and I said screw it and left. Absolutely the worst customer service and slowest “fast food restaurant” in Bloomington normal. This is not the first time I have waited there. Have they ever heard of can you pull ahead we will bring your order out? Not fun with a baby in the vehicle just unreal!!!
