Philly cheesesteak was really good! It had lots of flavor and was a big serving size. My husband was a little disappointed with the sad looking bacon on his burger but still enjoyed it. My sons also enjoyed their burger and popcorn chicken. The service was overall good but our slushes weren’t correct. We were asked if we wanted frozen or iced, we asked for frozen and received iced. It wasn’t a huge deal but would’ve preferred what we ordered, obviously. We’ll most likely return. 🙂

It’s a classic! Traveled from Waukegan to this location as sonics are few and far in between nowadays. Was well worth the drive. Ordered popcorn chicken, jalapeño cheddar bites, tator tots, and a cherry limeade. Service was quick and the staff were friendly.

On the evening of July 24, my three friends and I went around 10:00 pm to get ice cream. We had all agreed Sonic would be a great treat because they have slushees, shakes, and sundaes. We were greeted with rude, below-average service. We ordered from our car. The driver ordered first. Then, she ordered for the passenger. She wanted a shake. The woman taking our order said they were out of shake mix but could make a blast out of the shake order. My other friend ordered a blast. Then I was going to order ice cream. We were the boy rudely asked “you want another ice cream.” Which took us all aback as we did not expect to be judged for getting ice cream. I had asked if she could do the shake as a blast with the fudge shake. She ended up charging us extra even though they were out of the mix. Finally, the last friend ordered. She asked the woman what was on the hot fudge sundae. She responded “just fudge and ice cream” again, with a rude tone. When she delivered our order everything was correct except for the sundae. The friend who ordered the sundae asked why there was whipped cream and a cherry when she was told it was not on there. The woman then said “I didn’t tell you that was on there, I can’t make a new one because we are actually out of ice cream.” Bottom line, we were treated rudely from the beginning and were disappointed by the service we received.

Last night I took my family out for ice cream. I went through the drive thru because we were just going to get ice cream and leave. We waited for a long time, Finally someone comes through the window and asks for payment. I asked them how much longer and he said ” I’m not sure, we are backed up. I can start making them right now for you but we are backed up.” I understand they are backed up and I’m sure I went at the wrong time but for them not even starting my order since I was waiting 25 mins almost 30mins for the car before me to start my order. I’m sorry but I thought drive thru was to speed up the process versus dining in. Ended up going somewhere else.

The food is alright, nothing crazy. I mainly go here because it’s cheap and they give big portions for the cost. AVOID COMING HERE! The workers are lazy and will watch you sit in their car, I saw workers digging into a customer bag and taking some food. All I got was a milkshake at a dead time throughout the day, and I waited 45 minutes. Never coming here again

Literally the biggest waste of an hour in my life. Understaffed is an understatement. Took over 25 minutes to order.. another 20 minutes to get 2 slushes. That’s right, slushes.. no food. And they screwed up 1 of the 2 slushes.

I got onion rings and a corn dog. I live onion rings but these were not edible. The corn dog was ok, Luke warm, but ok. But the rings were terrible. I have had their rings before and they were good. I don’t know if they changed distributers since the last time I’ve eaten there, but yuck. Ended up throwing then all out after one bite.
