I really love this place, their service and food. I just came back from SE Asia and wasn’t sure I’d find as Indian Food as good as I had there but this place does an amazing job. They’re super accommodating for me wanting to use my own reusable takeout dishes so as not to add to the rubbish problem as well. Their weekend buffet is so good. Generous portions are allowed for takeaway on that. If you’re thinking of Indian food, please go here!

My “go to’s” are Butter Chicken and Tika Masala however only when I can’t make it to another restaurant during lunch. I find the food average and overpriced. Portions are meager, I paid almost $30 for a few pieces (pinky sized or smaller) of chicken (Tikka masala-mostly sauce-), small container of rice and a few pieces of naan bread. I used to really enjoy the food but it’s been a while since, my main complaint is the small portions of meat, for 30 bucks I expect to get at least a generous handful of cubed pieces of chicken, chicken is not that expensive, it’s not steak.

Took Easter off from cooking and met my daughter and her BF here today. Everything was amazing. We all enjoyed every bite. Trying the naan, lamb dosa then we each ordered a different entree and ate it family style. Not to mention dessert!!! I have never liked rice pudding and I would order this again. Over all if you are looking to try something new or enjoy Indian food you MUST give this place a try. Thanks Kumar for your recommendations and awesome service. Happy Easter

I found this place by accident and was very impressed. Huge portions and great flavors. Their Tandoor chicken was one of the most flavorful I’ve ever eaten. The naan was very fresh. I would go back for sure. We ended up having a ton of food to take home. My photo below is one order of Tandoor chicken, huge portion.

I went there at 1:30pm on Sunday, food was not hot, mango juice had more water than mangoes, rice was hard, non-friendly staff. My experience was bad n food I had was not worth for money !!

Well reason for poor rating not because of food but became of how they just charged js so much on tip and blamed it in their POS. So be careful if coming jn a large group tell them we are separe otherwise they will do the same not cool. No issues with food taste except portions not so much

I looked at reviews of the Indian cuisine restaurants in Eden Prairie, and decided on Bay Leaf. We were not disappointed!! The restaurant was very clean, the man that served us was so friendly, and the food was fantastic!! I don’t remember what my husband had, but I had the Chicken Tikka Misala and Garlic Naan. Everything we ate was fabulous! We will definitely return, and highly recommend this restaurant. Another telling sign was the number of locals who came to order takeout. If the locals like it, then you know the food is good!

Contact-free pickup! Bay Leaf is still creating Tikka Masala and many varieties of Naan. Loved the many-flavored Samosa Chaat! Perfectly spiced Mango Chicken with fresh veggie crunch. Casual atmosphere in strip mall works beautifully. Fast and efficient service. Try it!
