Don’t overlook this place right off I-85 exit 61 or the intersection of Highway 1 and 460. The restaurant is extremely clean and the staff very courteous. The food is delicious and very generous portions. Tried the Jerk Chicken and Curry Shrimp, great spice with perfect level of heat. Curry Shrimp was cooked to order. Their lemonade is a great compliment to the spice. Highly recommend, definitely eat here again.

First time eating Jamaican food. Always love trying new eats. Ordered Jerk chicken, and it was flavored perfectly with just the right amount of heat. The chicken was so tender it fell right off the bone. Rice was excellent as well topped with gravy. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place. This is God’s answer to comfort food!

Flavorless oxtail, stew chicken and wet jerk chicken, it didn’t even taste like jerk chicken. I don’t recommend, if you want real authentic Jamaican food. They definitely need a different cook or season the food better.

Very good food with friendly service It is behind Mapco at Rt 1 and 460 in Dinwiddie at the old Huddle House. The inside is clean and there is a wide variety including fish. I had Chicken Curry and it was the best. It comes with cabbage, rice, beans and a plantain ! They also are on Door Dash! I stopped in in between showing houses. The food was very fresh even at 2 in the afternoon!

It was my first time eating from here, I had the oxtail for $20 I got 4 bones not meat, cabbage sweet with no seasoning and rice and beans was mushy. The food was not worth the money that we spent. Curry chicken wasn’t good either. Maybe because it was closing time but they shouldn’t sell food that is not up to par because it’s your name that you are putting on the line. No thank you I will pass.

Stopped here while on a road trip. Everything was good, tender, and flavorful. The portions are huge. The owner is friendly. The spice level is appropriate for most, unless you think ketchup is spicy.
