This is a quaint little old timey diner that is just minutes from Tucson Medical Center. The place smell clean when I walked in. There were plenty of seats available. The staff told us to sit anywhere and we’re very friendly. We’re brought menus and our drinks were very quickly. Didn’t have to wait long for our lunch to come. There is definitely a Coca Cola theme going! My friend had the tuna salad and said it was excellent. I had the Philly cheesesteak and was a little disappointed, my bun was a little soggy. The meat was chopped versus sliced. The flavor though was delicious! I would be willing to try this place again.

Super friendly, really good food and low wait time, others state smell of mold but i didn’t notice, it looked pretty clean to me honestly, and the food was AMAZING! I got the chicken fried chicken (It had more gravy i just flipped it for the image) and i ate every bite! 11/10 will come here again.

Have driven bye several times and finally stopped for lunch, and it was excellent. I had a turkey Club sandwich and their homemade Potato salad and an Ice Cold Diet Pepsi, and my wife had a chicken salad sandwich and coleslaw. All made in house and very good.
Our waitress was Rosa and she was excellent. The menu is very big and we will most certainly be back. If you have never eaten there, stop in and enjoy.

Always a great meal and service. Helpful wait staff who directs you to best price and combination for what you are looking for.

Our table had a good breakfast mix of biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, various styles of eggs and grits. All cooked to perfection.

Had high hopes for this iconic diner. Waffles and pancakes were great, but the omelette and hash browns could have been so much better. Hash browns tasted like vegetable oil and they definitely need to change the cheese option on the omelette. Best part was the atmosphere and decor made for great conversation.

This place is a great little restaurant, especially if you need a menu that has plenty of inexpensive options. The food we ordered was really good and the portion was just right. The food came before we started thinking about it and it didn’t feel like it was overpriced. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We’ll be back!

Fun place and lots of coca-cola memorabilia (but only serve Pepsi products, the story why is part of the lore). Service was excellent. Good was classic diner food but delicious. Onion rings were top notch.

Always looking to try something new (or at least new to me), I decided to check out Alice’s Restaurant today. I tend to prefer supporting local non-corporate businesses, so this funky little “Mom ’n’ Pop’s” diner was just what I needed.

The shop is a veritable museum of old Coca Cola memorabilia, the walls covered in old Coke marketing goodies — which is funny when you see the sign on the front window announcing “We Proudly Serve… Pepsi”. I read the backstory once on their website, but it seems that website is now defunct. To the best of my recollection, they used to serve Coke (or planned to), but the local Coke distributor wouldn’t give them the time of day, whereas the Pepsi distributor was more than happy to give them the respect they deserve… and thus a Coke memorabilia shop serving Pepsi. Right on!

The clientele I observed were mostly retirees and appeared to be a “first name basis” of local loyals. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich served with fries and added a cup of today’s soup, Bean & Bacon. The soup was very clearly homemade with nice chewy bites of bacon. The sandwich was fair enough fare; the fries were from frozen but good. I’ll try their breakfast next time.

As for the service, the young woman who served me was really nice, smiling, attentive, accommodating and made my first visit to this restaurant a welcoming experience. Five stars; wish more wait staff were like her!

Neat Lil diner. Atmosphere leaves you slightly nostalgic with all it’s Coke decorations. Ordered the chicken strip basket with fries and potato salad. Chicken strips were a little over cooked. Otherwise decent. Fries were okay, but tasted like they were fried with onion rings. Potato salad was bland (in my opinion) but at the same time I ate it all.
Service was great. Not going to be my new favorite spot, but definitely will be back to try other menu items.

I really wanted this to be our new little ‘go-to.’ Unfortunately, walking in the door there is an overwhelming smell of mold. All of the collectibles look dirty and unorganized. (I would hire professional cleaning, replace the old nasty carpet with tile and clean and organize the collectibles. ) We stayed to try the food. The service was great. Food was perfectly hot. The food was great; hot oatmeal & Denver omelet. The kitchen smelled clean and the bathroom was clean.
Until the front end is clean and tiled, I don’t think we will be back.
