My Husband and I travel alot an I normally go by reviews on places to eat, stay etc. If I had went by some of the reviews for SDG we wouldn’t have had some of the best food on this trip. This place is was so busy with the drive thru, call in and inside orders but, our food was fresh hot and out in a timely manner. You have to stop here and give it a try!!!! I had the southwest spaghetti and husband had the southwest wrap both were amazing !!!!

Nice locally owned restaurant. The menu isn’t huge but it covers lots of flavors and tastes – from salads and teriyaki bowls to baked potatoes and catfish – you’re sure to find something you like. Meals are made to order so every thing is fresh and hot. The staff is very friendly.

This place is one of my favorite spots when I visit Clovis! They are consistent and the food is tasty. Some of my favorite menu items are the Johnny bites, the California Spud, and the Fiesta salad. Check out my pics to get really hungry. You can order dine in, take out, and they even deliver locally. Great place to try out, you won’t be disappointed!

Traveling thru, always prefer to eat local, tried this place, photos on website looked good, we had it delivered. We were disappointed that the bowl was half of what is shown for this dish on the website. photo included. The online menu shows a bowl with at least 18-20 pieces of chicken, ample carrots and broccoli. Ours had 10 bites of chicken; about 1/4 c carrots and 3 broccoli tops. it was tasty, but i just hate it when they don’t deliver what’s advertised!

Was not impressed. I had the fried catfish, fries with slaw. Food was bland. Slaw tasted old (I wasn’t sure if I should eat it or not. I decided not.) First and last time eating there.

Ordered crispy chicken spud with extra gravy, chicken fried steak spud with no cheese, chicken teriyaki bowl no veggies extra teriyaki, Super Bowl extra teriyaki and 3 egg rolls. The egg rolls were the only thing done right. Called the store and they had us bring the whole order back so they could redo it. The only thing they redid was the chicken fried steak spud and then gave us the extra teriyaki and gravy in the little cups. By the time we got home with the food, all but the redone chicken fried steak spud was cold and the food was bland! No flavor!!Talked to the manager and was given no apology!! Will not go back!!

Food is not good. Advertised as “something different,” obviously, but the service is extremely slow and the food was not very good. I’ve met people who like the food here but after several visits I truly don’t understand why. Give them a miss and try Bill’s Jumbo Burger or Foxy’s if you’re looking for fast food.

This place has gone downhill big time! They use to run with a few kids and everything ran smoothly. I’m not sure if the management has changed or what but it was the worst service we have had at any something different. The quality of all of them has gone down with each new addition to the chain. I’m afraid they are losing what made it great and it won’t last. The night we went ( a few days ago) EVERY single customer was upset and all orders were wrong and taking waaaaay too long! Huge fail!

I enjoyed my Chicken Fried Steak Spud and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her Cali Chicken Spud. I don’t see many stuffed potato restaurants anymore so it was nice to get to enjoy one again.
