Welp– Add them to the list of restaurants that are DONE. Our food was HORRIBLE!! RAW RIBS ain’t my thing! It’s such a shame– their food used to be decent, more expensive and they’ve fallen way off!! They accepted that and $refunded$ our waste of time, which tellsMe, we weren’t the first to do so! But to each its own..

We last visited Smokey Bones a few years back. It was good but not so good that it competed with other restaurants in the area, so it never became a regular stop.

We travel from Chicago to this specific Smokey Bones a couple times a year. The food is always excellent. My favorite is the mac&cheese with the pulled pork and sausage. It’s always perfect! Gary is an absolute gem. He is, sweet, friendly and so attentive. We’ll continue to make the 3 -ish hour drive for the amazing food and service!

Food is amazing, the pretzel and beer cheese has some of the best pretzels I’ve ever had. The potato wedges have a seasoning that tastes like the bbq seasoning on lays bbq chips. The brisket stuffed grilled cheese was beyond amazing and the bbq pulled pork sandwich was also delicious. The bbq sauces that are on the table range from a honey mustard variant to a spicy sweet bbq, overall very good. Would recommend. The drinks are balanced, the “peach smash” was strong, but didn’t taste like it. The “tropic likes it’s hot” is something you could drink entirely too much of without realizing it. Overall an amazing experience.

Got a Grubhub order. Asked for no onions on my chicken sandwich. Instead of no onions, I got nothing on it at all. No lettuce, no tomatoes. Just chicken, sauce and bun.

Stopped in for lunch last week, and the food was good, but extra shout out to my server, Kelsey! She could tell I was having a rough day when I sat down and made sure I was well cared for. Thanks for taking an extra few minutes and making my experience all around great!

Cali, our server was fabulous. We had a large group of about 12. She was super friendly and made food suggestions to some in our group that had never er been to Smokey Bones. The food was good. And we didn’t have a long wait to get it was ordered.

The service was alright 3/5. The nachos looked homemade…the top layer of cheese was melted but underneath that layer, it was cold and looked straight from the package of shredded cheese. Also the menu PLAYED US. The descriptions sounded delicious and enticing but they turned out not quite like we expected. It also had some items listed on it that were not in stock. First, the steak on the Steak and Spinach salad tasted frozen and reheated, (-5/10). Second, the “pulled chicken” on the other salad looked and tasted like the chicken on Subway’s chicken bacon ranch sandwich. While it’s a good sandwich, it’s not at all what we were looking for (1/10). Third, the veggie burger looked real…earthy. I mean I guess it was good because it looked fresh (never frozen) but it was breaking apart with every bite. Also the only seasoning used for the patty was breadcrumbs, (3/10). However, the Loaded BBQ Burger was good, aside from the small onion rings. Wouldn’t have been mad if I hadn’t seen the persons onion rings right next to me that were the size of a bracelet rather than mine that were the size of a toe ring, (6/10). Overall, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
