We wanted the get some bread to go with the wine and cheese we just bought in the village. The bakery is not that clean looking and unfortunately the bread was hard and stale. Seemed like a day old being sold as fresh. It didn’t get one star because the building is quaint.

Smithville Bakery Cafe is located in Historic Smithville. Pastry is made daily. There’s a wonderful assortment of pies, danish, cookies and other pastries. The Cafe serves breakfast and Lunch in a delightful Tea Room setting. Food is delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.
