Visited on a weekend recently and have to say the drop coffee (Cruise Control) was top notch, and the breakfast bowl was amazing. Not a ton of food but that was the best poached egg I ever had

I’ve been wanting to stop here for a while and glad I finally got to. The navy yard location has good seating available and friendly staff. I ordered their iced vanilla bean latte which is a housemade syrup. It was good and the housemade syrup makes a difference. I also tried their brown butter chocolate chip cookie which was good as well. I received my drink quickly which was convenient. This looks like a good spot for coworking and getting some work done with free Wi-Fi as well.

The perfect coffee shop. Great “house” lattes that you can order off the menu, tons of open space that make the cafe feel airy and large. Music player at an appropriate level and there is a good amount of seating (though it did fill up in the morning quickly). The food was yummy – only suggestion I offer (and my missing star) is that the granola dish needs more yogurt. There was maybe a 2-1 granola to yogurt ratio that made this a pretty dry dish.

Possibly the best avocado toast I’ve ever had!! The balance of flavor is absolutely perfect. Latte was really good but the espresso was the tiniest bit sour, otherwise I would give 5 stars. Totally coming back though!

Really want to love this place. The coffee is amazing, I walk a few blocks for it when I have two coffee shops on my building block. The front desk staff is always so nice. However, the staff that makes the coffee is often times rude. Today I went to get an iced latter (my normal drink), I ordered and tipped as usual. It was a little busy but not that busy. I stood by waiting along with everyone else and when my order came up it was a hot latte. Now it’s July, so obviously I didn’t want a hot 7$ + 1$ tip latte in 90 degree weather. So I politely said, sorry this is suppose to be iced. The lady behind the count who was rude to other customers the whole time just glared at me and slammed the cup she had in her hand down. She then very dramatically poured ice in a cup and poured the contents of what she was making over the ice and slammed it down on the counter and said this is for you. So…. Awkward. I said thank you and left because what else am I gonna do. Sadly probably won’t be back simply due to that interaction. However, the coffee and pastries (that’s all I’ve had there) are actually really great. And again the front desk staff is always so nice and friendly.

Amazing high quality coffee, tasty food, always awesome music playing, and you can order straight to your table. Staff is super friendly too. All around great coffee shop to work from or have a chat in. It is small though, might seat 30 or less.
