I LOVE this restaurant. I haven’t been in a while but the food is still AMAZING. The skyland special is mine and my husband’s go to breakfast. Our kids have enjoyed eating here too. Very kid friendly. The staff doesn’t change and they are ALWAYS friendly. I just had a root canal and I got the french toast, eggs & grits which were sooo moist and delicious. I will be coming back when I can.

I stopped in as I was in Charlotte for just one day. The ladies running this restaurant were just LOVELY. The portions are HUGE and you will most definitely get your moneys worth I couldn’t eat it all. I absolutely LOVED the soup and the Greek Chicken wow! So flavorful. It looks to be a local place and I hope to return again soon.

This was on my top 10 list. I have moved out of state and have not been able to visit until recently. I was so disappointed with the menu, and the food. I was expecting more from the menu. It only had a few selections to choose from. I wanted the amazing spaghetti that I used to always get but it was not on the menu therefore I thought it was unavailable. I ended up get one of the Hot Sandwiches. The cheese wasn’t even melted all the way and there was way more bread than meat. The ratio was like way off. To my fellow Charlotteans it is not the same. I will not be back.

I was looking for a quiet place to have a meal and a conversation. Remembered this place from a previous stay at the Four Points by Sheraton. On entering, the place was surprisingly busy although not crowded. I waited for 6-7 minutes before someone came to greet and seat me.

Don’t get the steak and gravy, most of the food was unsettling but i would recommend the banana pudding and the breakfast items. The venue is really cute. Don’t get the apple pie either. The waitress was slightly too friendly but we didn’t mind too much.

We had a waitress name Maria. While taking our drink order and our food, she was huffing and puffing like we were taking too long. Me and my 2 sons noticed it, but we try to brush it off. Then when she bought our food to the table, she pushed the plate and slid one of my son’s drinks across the table. I asked her ma’am is there a problem, and she said no, she said that she had a table with a party and she was real busy, and she apologized. Then she came back to the table and apologized again and kept stating how busy she was I told her I know you got a party and you’re busy, but we are customers too and we deserve respect. She continued to apologized, but then came back 5 min later, sit the tea and water pitcher on the table, and said since I’m so busy can I leave the pitcher on the table. So now we was treated rude, and we have to pour our own drink. I was too through. I will go back to the restaurant cause the food was good, but I do not want get her as waitress. Ryley the cashier was so so nice to us. When I told her what happened, she was so apologizetic to us. It was not her fault, but it was nice that she apologized for something her coworker did. She was the best.

What an awful experience, one star is one too many. The new owner is not a good person. I used to eat here once a week for lunch when it was under the management of the previous owner, Jimmy. Always good- not great, but good. He has retired, and NOTHING is the same. Most of the old people are gone. New decor is nice, though.

It was ok. Make sure whoever is taking your order is really paying attention. Ours seemed to be preoccupied with other things the entire time and walk off mid sentence ‍♂️. She forgot my blue berries for my waffle….I still want them..

Visited this location for a pick up order this morning. The experience was great!!! I’ve been traveling for two days and the staff at this restaurant have given me a great start to my day. I ordered a veggie omelet that was good, two pork chops that were quite tasty, and two fried eggs. No, I didn’t eat it all myself, but everyone was very happy. The pick up experience was easy and quick. I didn’t have to ask for cutlery. It’s the little things that make an experienced good or bad. Thank you for a good one.
