I was very excited to revisit an old favorite of mine. I was hesitant at first, not knowing what to expect. I am happy to report, it was as though it never changed. The lomein was always my favorite, and it was wonderfully nostalgic to enjoy it after too many years. I had a Mai Tai, it definitely could have been better, (it tasted like they used cheaper ingredients), but was happy it was on the menu. A few friends of mine shared a scorpion bowl, they enjoyed it very much. The decorations are what you remember, the beautiful carved, dark wood dragons and flowers scrolling throughout the restaurant. It was clean. It was also a quiet night, no live band playing in the bar like I remember, so it made it easy to enjoy conversation with the friends I went with. Will definitely return. ☺️

Singapore is back!!! New owners Alex and Al were very friendly and Lee the new bartender makes a great Mai Tai. Kristi (same waitress we used to have there) was our waitress and she was quick and friendly like she always is. Our food and drinks were delicious and the service was excellent! Alex the owner said that bands will be back on Friday and Saturday nights starting soon! So happy this place is back up and running! Had so many good memories there and many more to come!

I wasn’t going to leave a review. I had high hopes since the re-opening of the restaurant, unfortunately I had one of my worst fears come true. The atmosphere was the same as years ago. Even the smell was the same lol. Saturday, I brought my family here for my mother’s birthday dinner, 8 of us total. Got 2 poo poo platers and 2 sides. I ordered the steamed veggies and chicken personally. Everything came out in a very fast manner. The platters were not as plentiful as years past. My steamed plate looked great, after a few bites in I cut into my chicken and it was COMPLETELY raw inside. I didn’t want to make a scene so I left the table to tell the lady up front. Never got an apology, in fact they said as a reaction that the cooks don’t know what they were doing!! Nothing was done about this situation they just took my plate and went in the back. I just sat at the table with an empty plate, I completely lost my appetite and was baffled how they treated me. The rest of the food was a disappointment. The bill was close to $200.00 with tip. The old days are missed and so is the way of the previous Singapore. Won’t ever go back.

The Singapore will always and forever be my favorite Chinese Restaurant. I’m 46 years young, and this has been a staple in my life since I can remember. Not only is the food distinctive and better than your average take-out, it is extremely sentimental. Over the past few years, it has become a Phoenix rising from the ashes, and I hope that it is now once again here to stay for the rest of my lifetime and beyond.

Well the first time we ordered takeout one of the dishes was missing. We called and they told me that we could get it the next time we ordered. No problem we weren’t upset since things happen. We just ordered again and the chicken fingers were missing from the Pu Pu platter. Now I’m disappointed that they keep messing up. The food isn’t bad but it certainly isn’t the Singapore we all were hoping for

What can I say. It’s great Chinese food, great service, the place after the remodel looks great, and it’s an institution in Fitchburg. A must try if you love Chinese food. Side note, best Crab Rangoons around.
