Ordered Chicken steam dumplings, shrimp lo mein, plain fried rice, general tso chicken combo, and Chicken & Broccoli combo. We were not a fan of the chicken & broccoli, the chicken had a particular odd texture and flavor. The shrimp lo mein and general tso chicken were good. I recommend trying their General Tso Chicken. Another thing that is odd, is the styrofoam containers and not the typical plastic take home containers that can keep your leftovers a little more fresh rather than this type of containers that your food will be dried out the next day. The chicken dumplings were good, just wished it came with the dumpling sauce that it typically would come with at any other takeout place.

A friend recommended me to try this place. Very clean place, atmosphere is great. Trying one of favorite Kung Pao Chicken. Strong spicy! I will definitely coming back next time if I craving Chinese food again. Better than eating Panda Express.

Read all of the reviews and notice that the goodwins are from 2 or more years ago.. I didn’t notice this until after we had ordered.
All covered in oil. I ordered Hunan Beef, Egg drop soup, 4 Sweet and sour pork, and 2 Crab Rangoon.
Beef Not spicy but bitter, pork was chicken and covered in the bitter sauce from the beef, Sweet & sour was sweet & Bitter & beyond nasty. The egg drop soup is not soupy it’s like jellow and tasts like chicken broth, She could not explain what her menu items were and was very rude and short. They are $2 higher on every combo than any other Chinese place in town. All 3 meals went in the trash with very little eaten.
This was a complete waste on money….

I have been coming here for years, since i used to walk from the highschool nearby. The owners know my order just by my face and it warms my heart, as they are the most lovely pair. I have never had a bad experience with the Chicken Fried Rice, and they know when I walk in what I’m coming in for! $9.50 for the serving offered is to die for.

I don’t remember it tasting like this. my husband and I would come here frequently, long time ago though, like 2015. we recently moved back to the area. it makes me sad lol $17 down the drain. chicken tastes off. and the rice is stale. it’s not flavorful. sad face

The food tasted like cigarettes. Crab Rangoon looked like cigarettes ash was in it and they argued with me. I would have given 0 stars if I could. Still waiting for them to figure out how to refund. Literally took 2 bites out of one dish and they are charging me for it. Stick with Maderain Chef on Eastern better food and better service!!

Tried to overcharge me and the food was not good. Bland, my steamed dumplings were overdone and the egg roll was hard. The “plain” Lo mein was drenched in some kind of sauce. Definitely not worth the price and will not be going back.
