Great customer service!!!!! The chef was awesome and the food was the best I’ve had. I’ve been to many Japanese restaurants and Shogun is tasty and the best flavor. Awesome place and I love the atmosphere.

The staff were very kind and the service is really good. The food isn’t the best I’ve had but maybe I need to try something different. The included soup tasted good but was very salty and the dressing on the salad was tasty but was overpopulated with the white parts of the cabbage. Ordered the Imperial steak hibachi and the gyoza. The hibachi veggies were good and the steak was tender and delicious. Ate some of the fried rice and didn’t touch the noodles. The fried rice was very good but a tad salty for my taste. The gyoza came out fried instead of pan steamed; not a huge issue and they were pretty good. Also ordered the cold sake and it was very good. I’ll come again to give it another shot as they weren’t serving sushi at the time I visited and they do offer teppanyaki so that might be worth a try.

Went there for my birthday celebration and was very disappointed. The host was very friendly but the atmosphere was old and dirty the carpet was old and it need curb appeal from outside in. when the guy came out to cook the food the butter had old grease in it when he dip it out he cleaned off the dirty part put in the food disposal then put the spatula back on the table not very good food hygiene the containers with sauces looked old and dirty the soda had an odd taste, the soup was too salty my party did not stay to taste the food. Will not go again. I wish the place matched the friendliness.

I’m kinda shocked at the lower reviews of this place. My husband and I went here for our 3 year wedding anniversary and we thought it was wonderful. The staff is incredibly nice and laid-back, I felt like I was invited into their homes. The food was awesome. I looooved the teriyaki chicken. The place was kinda empty when we went but I kinda liked that. It was very quiet and we were able to have a peaceful meal together. We’re definitely coming back here.

Great experience. We arrived about 5 mins after the opened. Went for a birthday, and the chef DID NOT disappoint! He was very attentive to the birthday guest and made it all such a fun experience. Cannot wait to go back.

Shogun, shogun, shogun….The food didn’t disappoint. I ordered sushi and gyoza while the rest of the family ordered hibachi. The Cowboy roll with fried shrimp, spicy tuna’ and deep fried was very delicious. The same goes with the Tuna sashimi; very buttery and melted in my mouth. Service was also great. What wasn’t great was the cook. He made no interactions with the guests, nor did he really do anything while cooking for entertainment. The facilities were found to be wanting as well. The menus were old and torn up as were the walls. Needs a good wipe down, fresh coat of paint and some wood work. It would look a lot better for nothing in dollar sense compared to what you pay for a meal. I would’ve gave a 3.5 if I could’ve. We will probably go somewhere else for future hibachi.

The food was awesome!!!!! The waitress was very nice and friendly. The cook was fun and friendly and we all had a great time. We went for my birthday at 4 o click. Right when they opened. No one was there of course. But also no one came while we were there. Very surprising. Show this place some love! Also for 5 of us (2 kids menus) the price was surprising as well! I fully expected to pay around $150 before tip. We paid under that with $20 tip.

I am so disappointed in this restaurant. We moved to Clarksville almost 8 years ago & had eaten here a few times. The food was good but the woman that serves you was always quite rude so we stopped going. We decide for my sons bday to give it another try. We’ve been trying all the hibachi in Clarksville as our favorite closed down a year ago. Anyway I called a couple days before and made a reservation for 6 adults and 1 toddler needing a high chair. For 7pm. Gave my phone number and all specifics needed. We arrive ON TIME. They have 1 grill already mid cook, great, and 2 2 person couples eating salads and drinks at a table. They make us sit at the door and wait 10/15 minutes before seating us. And another 5 or so before taking our drink order. It slowly becomes very obvious the (still rude woman) taking our order and the cook already cooking for 1 table with another table waiting are the only two employees. So we pieced together that we would have to wait at least another half an hour to an hour before they even start making our food. And we have a 14 month old with us. Now I do completely understand being understaffed these days. However, I called ahead and made a reservation. They knew all of our specifics, and that we would have a toddler with us which does mean that we cannot wait like normal adults, that don’t really mind waiting. So they could’ve taken the time to call us and let us know they had two tables come in they did not have reservations and then it would probably be 30-45 minutes before a table would even begin cooking. Instead they said nothing to us and just left us waiting. The whole situation was uncomfortable and very unwelcoming. We decided to take our bday party & $400 ticket to Yamato hibachi & had a wonderful time. It’s not my meaning to stop these people from being in business, but instead to stop customers from having experiences like we did. I would strongly suggest just going somewhere else.

The chef was excellent and entertaining! We had a great time, although the hostess/waitress rushed us to order. Overall a pleasant experience.
