Wonderful experience dining here. Expected the noise level to be awful as we were seated in the section in the train station and there was a banquet in another room. We were pleasantly surprised with how easily we could hear one another. The service was excellent, and although it took a long time to get our entrees, it was well worth the wait. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Steaks and lamb were cooked exactly as requested. Halibut scampi, a special for tonight, was delicious. They serve an unusual salad included with all entrees. Lemon sorbet afterwards before the entree. For the quality of the meal, the prices are better than similar restaurants. Will definitely go back.

The food was fantastic, all the way around, everyone was very happy with their food. The atmosphere is pretty mixed; It’s in the middle of the old train station which is gorgeous, but with all the doors open, it’s a bit loud. The staff was very friendly and we’d definitely go again.

Beautiful restaurant with great food. Our server was pleasant and efficient. I had the Treasure salad, a lemon sorbet to cleanse the pallet, and very delicious chicken riggies! The only thing I noticed was the bathroom could be updated … They were fine for a luncheon but I don’t think they’d be sufficient for a big party or wedding but maybe there are different larger ones located somewhere else

The restaurant is very nice. It is on the more pricey side, but it is well worth it. They were very friendly and the food is amazing. This is a great spot for a special night out, but it is only open for dinners on Friday and Saturday. On weekdays it is open for lunch. Every dish was delicious, cooked perfectly, and looked amazing when they came to the table.

We ordered the appetizers of the calamari and coconut shrimp which both were amazing. We all ordered the chicken riggies which were also delicious and was served with an edible orchid. For dessert I ordered the amaretto cheesecake which was amazing. I highly recommend trackside.

I ordered to go. I opened container when i was handed my order, bacon was missing, i let them know, they provided. The burger was well done very tough. I requested medium rare. Definitely not worth the money i paid

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Trackside Restaurant in Utica, NY, and it was an exceptional experience. Our server, Elmina, was truly spectacular, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the evening. The food was absolutely wonderful. The highlight, however, was the setting itself. Housed within the historic Utica train station, the restaurant exudes a unique charm and character. I highly recommend Trackside Restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a cool and historic setting.

I always love this restaurant. It is a gem. A couple times a year I ride the Amtrak train to the station and have a nice lunch date there. The food is consistently very good.
I would have rated the service a 5 because it is usually very good. However, on this day they closed early, without warning, to prepare for Valentine’s Day diners. We had to take our dessert to go.

Great Italian restaurant. The food is top notch in this place. The sandwiches at lunch are great and there are always a couple of specials. Dinner is fantastic. Nice menu, good drinks, the sorbet in between is an amazing touch. They also do an amazing job at private parties. I have attended several and everything was perfect. Can’t go wrong here.
