As a Singaporean: the chicken flavoured rice was pretty legit. Good curry chicken too. Only issue was that the cereal prawns don’t taste like the Singaporean ones – way too sweet and dry and prawns weren’t as good. Overall worth a try and would come back to try more dishes!

I’ve been here a few times prior to the pandemic since I had worked close by. It’s been a few years since I had come since it’s a bit far for me. This is my favorite place to go for Laksa so I had to order that and it did not disappoint. Tasted like just what I remembered. The price is also not too expensive especially for lunch. We also ordered the roti and another noodle dish. Both were good but my main dish was the laksa. I can’t really find a good restaurant that makes laksa close to my neighborhood. I definitely would go back even if it is a long drive.

The five spice roll is great, the flavor of clay pot and Laksa noodle is pretty mild.

My rating is for overall but the Hokien Mee deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the rest is really nothing to write home about. I also don’t know why this place always gives out dried limes and lemons! I mean we are in california, where do you even find dried citrus ? Also don’t order the string beans, it looks like someone ate 75% of the order and then served it. They shouldn’t be so superdupa stingy with the portions of string beans, it’s only 1.99 per pound at cost even with inflation. Go for the hokkien mee and don’t bother with the rest. They always forget to give hot sauce upon request too

This is one of our favorite Singaporean food restaurants in the Bay Area – the quality is consistently good and prices are very reasonable. The most authentic dishes in my opinion are the Hokkien mee, char Kway Teow and Hor Fun. The menu is extensive. Go early to avoid crowds and the wait for food can be long. Highly recommended.

I always get the same thing when I go because it’s so good: chicken satay and roti prata. Went for some desert from the extensive list of options and tried the fried ice cream. Honestly.. I wish there was a little bit more ice cream in the middle and less dough, I was searching for the ice cream wondering where it was.

I was so excited to find this place! Turns out they’ve been around for decades, so that goes to show they’re a staple in the neighborhood.
