The two star really all goes toward the waitress, she was very sweet. The food was not edible. We ordered the sampler which consisted of onion rings, fried green tomatoes, and potato skins. They were all too greasy and the tomatoes were hard with the breading not fully cooked and doughy, when you took a bite you couldn’t bite the tomato it sprung back like a rubberband. The onion rings had thin breaded crust with a greasy gloss. We ordered the blackened fowl with bacon and cheddar cheese. I had them add mustard (which was missing) and pickles with a side of okra. My okra must have gotten lost because I had like 10 on my plate and the rest must have flew the chicken coop to my mom’s plate which was overflowing with them. I thought the seasoning made it overly salty then add the bacon and it was overwhelmed with salt. The chicken other than the blackened seasoning was bland but super hot. We aren’t from here and will never be back but seriously if the sign on the side of the road says 5 generations but it’s obvious the better generations aren’t cooking in the kitchen any longer.

By far best breakfast I’ve ever had in my life! Tops Denny’s or IHOP any day! Everything was very clean and the service was top notch the price was absolutely amazing, too, considering how much food you get. The snow cone is the bomb and what’s in the picture. Their pancakes are the size of whole plates! Will definitely be returning

We LOVE this place, everything is homemade and you can tell. If you haven’t tried their chicken and dumplings you’re missing out. We also had their fried green tomatoes ( just like my grandma used to make) and pie with a perfect flaky crust. The portion sizes are HUGE a $12 meal is actually 2 meals in one. Service is great the wait staff is always friendly and helpful (especially Crystal). If you’re in the mood for a mixed drink there’s also a cute little bar area back there and the vodka lemonade didn’t disappoint.

We had never been and figured we would try it. I got the Ckn fried steak to split with my little girls and my husband got hamburger steak. We all got full and the food was amazing. Mine was twice the size of the one at a place across town for the same price and so much more flavor. And its the only restaurant that makes Mac and chz like I do. We will be going back

Food was good, portions were great for the most part. Getting seated took a while. Staff looked like they had been slammed for a while. All of them were still friendly and helpful though. Decor still looks like the old Judy Ann’s that use to be there. Rolls were massive and hot. Needed a little more butter and flavor to them. My son was not a big fan of the chicken tenders, little dry and not a lot of flavor. Roast beef was juicy and tender…needed a touch more gravy. And the gravy could have been thicker. They need more tables in the place. Husband’s Meatloaf was fabulous! Macs & cheese were great too! Dad’s hamburger steak was alright but nothing to write home about. All in all a good experience and will probably return.

Almost thirty minutes to get order, one other table of guest at the time. Waitress wouldn’t get off the phone even while attempting to attend to us. She was complaining loudly the entire visit. Had to ask for things a couple of times. Food was good, although one meal was cold. Won’t go back

I give a 3 star for the service, other then that I have to say, I have tasted better chicken fried steak, the cust was soggy, the steak was bland, ended up putting steak sauce on my plate to make it taste better. For the price of this it should have tasted better and a better crust at $12.49 wouldn’t waste my money.

The rolls were not very good. Which was surprising because they had a picture of them on the sign. But they were free, so I guess that evens it out.
