Our server was attentive and polite. Her name is Denise. Her manager ruined everything. She followed behind our server nitpicking everything. She was practically staring at me then I could hear her go {not} out of hearing range and criticizing her. She asked me if we wanted refills on our drinks and I said sure. Next thing here comes Denise rushing to get us refills. She asked us then went and ordered our server to get us refills. Then I could hear that manager picking on the Busser. She was just awful. I almost had to say something. My time would have been much better without her.

This is an updated review: I have ordered multiple pies from this location over the past couple of years. Every pie has been amazing and I love Shari’s Pies. I had an issue today where my pie came with overripe bananas and made the pie very bland and tasteless. After submitting a complaint, Wanda (the manager, I believe) reached out within a couple hours and was very nice and sweet. She immediately offered to remake the pie and go get fresh bananas from the store, admitting their bananas were not ripe. I have never been so impressed with management at a restaurant before, especially with having a manager offer to get fresh ingredients. I appreciate her a lot and the new pie definitely made up for the mistake. Wanda is amazing and I greatly appreciate her.

My pancakes/eggs and my husband’s roast turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes and broccoli we’re delicious along with the chips and queso. Denise was a personable waitress and took care of us with I think the whole restaurant (possibly the only waitress serving several other tables and the host stepped in once to help with clearing plates in a timely manner). We would like to go back assuming we aren’t on a strict schedule. Thank you for making our visit special, as we came here from Kansas.

Service was friendly, but pretty slow even tho it wasn’t busy. The food was very lacking, the pancakes were raw, the hashbrowns were raw, and the prime rib dip had barely any meat and the meat was mostly fat. The side of fries was barely 1 potato. The table beside us was having the same experience.

Our family went to dinner and food was good. Service in the beginning was lacking so I spoke with manager. Boy did things change so much for the better! Everyone got involved, checking on tables, providing customer service – it was awesome! Our waitress Denise stepped up and gave such exemplary service, we were taken care of well. The way management heard my concern and then took appropriate action is so amazing – this is why I will be back again soon. Good job everyone, thank you!

I met my dad and stepmom in Moscow when we decided to eat at Shari’s. Denise was our waitress and absolutely made our dining experience fun and beautiful with her iconic, Tina Turner fashion and groovy dance moves. She made our evening 1000 times better than it already was. 10/10 would recommend.

When I entered the restaurant there was no one in front.(3:00 pm?) I stood there for quite a while until one of the workers opened the door to the kitchen and asked me what I wanted. Are you kidding me?! Finally a waitress came out and asked me if I was waiting for someone. I wasn’t feeling good and told her I was waiting to be seated crabbingly. After being seated I told her I wasn’t feeling good and she was pretty nice after that.

We live in Oakesdale WA and come to Moscow every 6-8 wks for groceries and to get our dogs groomed. We love coming to Shari’s for a bite. We had extremely fabulous service today with a server named Denise. She was amazing. She took amazing care of us and the establishment. It was nice to see that when she wasn’t busy, that she was still busy. Plus she was a truly genuine person. Thanks for hiring her!! Food was great too!!
