We had such a negative experience on Sunday night with Shanti. We ordered $75 worth of food and only an appetizer arrived. I had a really negative experience with the staff member on the phone and I paid $75 for only an appetizer to be delivered due to the incompetence of the staff to understand that there were two bags for the order. The staff member accused me of being at fault since “there aren’t usually multiple bags for an order”. I’ve contacted Door Dash who says that it’s the restaurants fault. I’ve reached out twice to the restaurant with no response. I’d really like a refund or at least a credit but nobody seems to care.

I’m from Hyde Park and passed this place I’m sure a million times and never really noticed it. I ended up being invited to a social gathering and finally had the chance to know it exists and try the food. I like Indian food but rarely eat it so this was a chance to really go all out and I did. I ordered the Mixed Grill along with some rice. I had never seen so many different types of meat on one plate. It was too good, cooked really well. All the ladies at my table were jealous since they all ordered chicken tikka masala (boring). Naturally I couldn’t eat it all at once and had leftovers for a couple days afterwards. It’s not far from me so I’ll definitely try to go back.
