After eagerly anticipating our visit to this brunch restaurant, we were absolutely thrilled by our experience. The staff exuded kindness and friendliness, ensuring we felt warmly welcomed. Despite the bustling holiday morning, we were promptly seated. The culinary delights that graced our table were expertly prepared and incredibly delectable. Needless to say, we’re already planning our next visit to this exceptional establishment.

I was excited to check this place out and sat at the bar. Both bartenders were engaging and friendly. The Bloody Mary was average- tasty pre-mix… if you go definitely get something that is mixed freshly by the bartenders. My egg was scrambled to perfection. Chef’s Kiss! My “Glitter on a Mattress” (sausage and bacon gravy over Texas Toast) was disappointing. The Texas Toast was stale and chewy. I ate the middle of it. I was looking forward to the crispy, buttery edges and I knew I was in trouble when I couldn’t cut the toast with a knife and fork. I had to tear pieces off. The edges were so chewy and tough I couldn’t eat them. The gravy was salty and the presentation was unappetizing. This dish was recommended by the bartender. Upon leaving I looked around and most people had pancakes and potatoes. I appeared to be the only person having an alcoholic drink. Some music would have added to the atmosphere. Family friendly. Great service. There are tastier drink and food options in the area. I drove 30 min out of my way to come here-wouldn’t recommend that. $35-They add a service charge (10%) for paying with a card.

We really enjoyed breakfast. If you don’t like a little fun with your meal then this may not be for you (I’m talking about the insecure manly he-mans). I order the “glitter on a mattress” which was bacon sausage gravy on Texas toast. I added an egg. For the name sake, they put on edible glitter. It was good! Although too much gravy but still a good meal. I also grabbed a B52 adult hot coffee. It was served to me and the server told me upon delivery that the cool whip they put on top is pink with…more glitter. It was also tasty. The atmosphere was cool and had a solid 80s-90s vibe with the decor/music.

What a cool place to have a fun meal and enjoy great food! The food was fast and well priced. There are great options with all day breakfast and a large pancake menu. We loved the edible glitter cream in the iced latte.

Excellent food and service! Perfectly prepared bacon, awesome cheesy grits, and sweet potato hash to die for (Tin Roof Rusted)! High marks for the Smoky Bloody Mary as well. The atmosphere is kitschy and fun. Highly recommend!

So, I’ve been to the Lakside location several times, but this was my first time here at the Main Street place. I like the location, decent for people watching, open, good vibe, but dude, get some more comfortable chairs. Anyways, ordered the big breakfast whale thingy and the bacon was good, English muffin was good, eggs over medium and good but their take on potatoes is not my favorite. They’re not so much bad as just not what I feel a breakfast potato should be. Coffee was good, but server was a bit tardy checking on us and I had to ask for assistance. Not the end of the world, but hey service, good service counts, right? We also ordered a sweet treat to share and let me just say that maple, caramel sauce is no joke. I mean it is good stuff. The only downfall is the dish is pretty rich and that kinda things fills me up fast, so I can not eat much. Hey, that is probably a good thing. By the way, my daughter had the same breakfast I did, and seemed to enjoy it. All in with a 20% tip we hit almost $44. Not bad considering the sweet treat we shared but not the Mega value I get at, say Waffle House.

The menu was hilarious, but far from being just a novelty place, their food is absolutely delicious and filling!! And the servers were great; funny, friendly and efficient!! Also, lots of tasty options on the drink menu for those of us who can’t do alcohol
