Really cool place, great attentiveness by the wait staff. Food came out very quick and it was very tasty and delicious. We had a big party; service was top notch and everyone loved their food. We tried the shrimp and crab dip and calamari, both of which were very good. The shrimp and grits were great and so were the fish and chips. Our dinner guests had the blackened catfish and shrimp po boy , which they said was one of the best they’ve had. I would definitely recommend this place and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Really great food! Good selection of beers. We liked eating on the front patio because the weather was great. We had planned on going across the street, but that place was closed on Tuesdays. We liked our Shrimp and grits, and our Fried Shrimp! Jordan made sure the food and service was perfect! The Oyster House is obviously a seafood place.

Great food. A very pleasant surprise in Blowing Rock. I’m from New Orleans, So i decided to try the po boy. It is made with Leidenheimer bread, which is made in New Orleans. The food was SOOO GOOD. It really felt like a taste of home.

This place was a true disappointment!!! As the steamed shrimp and fish n chips(cold slaw was old and soggy) were decent, the ettoufette (old rice, maybe 5 crawfish, water downed) was horrible!!! I was excited to see She Crab Soup on the menu (Charleston Classic) but it came out lukewarm and not flavorful. The owner and her child sat at the bar the whole time and the child coughed the entire time. Not once did the owner come over to apologize about the Ettoufette or check on us. The establishment was not busy at all, at one point we were the only customers. Terrible customer service from the owner, she made us feel very unwelcome. As we were leaving we said goodbye and Merry Christmas to all the staff but the owner said nothing. She avoided looking our way and made sure she did not make eye contact with us.Even though our waitress was wonderful, we will not be back and anyone I know will be skipping this restaurant.

Fantastic atmosphere, food and the service was wonderful. Probably the best French fries we’ve had in a very long time!

My husband and I stopped by here this past weekend. We had the shrimp and grits and they were AMAZING. It was the most unique way of cooking it we ave seen so far. I highly recommend. The fried green tomato caprese was also very good.

Hush puppies were extremely overcooked. I’m not sure how they even let them leave the kitchen. Crawfish was over cooked and extremely dry. You couldn’t suck the heads on them if you wanted too. The fries were the best part of our meal. Disappointed

Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day night dinner as we were spending the weekend in Blowing Rock. Everywhere we ate & drank had phenomenal food and service quality, but not Savannah’s Oyster House. Wish I had read all of the reviews before hand… Got hush puppies for an appetizer, but they never came out, when we asked the waiter he promptly went and grab a basket but they were cold. I asked him if the kitchen could warm them up and he was cool about it. Then our food finally came out literally 50 minutes later, the shrimp & grits were so salty it was almost not edible and it only had 5 shrimp. My wife got the lobster Mac and cheese, it came out hot but it was so bland and it wasn’t very fresh. This place needs Bar Rescue! Would highly NOT recommend.

This is one of our favorite and best restaurants we really like to go! This is the place my husband took me in the our 1st date and love it from the appetizers like the alligator bites to the Cajun Alfredo pasta and shrimp &grits especially the variety of dishes.

The food was great. The only issue I had was the ant in my cup. The server was very chill about it and it took 15 minutes for him to bring me another water and take the ant away. I then started looking around. The window sill next to me had about 20 dead flies on it. The big window near the stairs had the same thing going on.
