My first time here, I tried the Vegetarian Burrito and it 100% broke da mouth! Seriously, I think it’s the best burrito I’ve ever eaten. The fact that it was vegetarian didn’t take away from it’s heartiness. The beans, rice and avocado left me full and satisfied. I love spicy food, so I got it with Serrano sauce and jalapeños. But, if you’re looking for “medium” spicy, I would go with just one or the other. When you order, it’s a small space, so a line forms outside. It’s definitely worth the wait, and the sweet auntie is fun to talk story with!

Small taco place just off the Hawaii Belt Rd. Order inside and eat outside. The chef took the order and assembled the 3 tacos while we chatted. Very friendly service. I had 2 pork tacos (salsa Verde and chipotle) and a chicken taco (mayo based, non-spicy). All were on double corn tortillas. Excellent flavor. Great eating. Variety of textures.

Was underwhelmed eating here. It just wasn’t that tasty. I was really looking forward to it. Sadly not the best Tacos on Big Island. Best fish tacos goes to Gil’s Lanai and local beef tacos goes to Harmoni foods (only open Friday and Saturday)

This is one of the most tasty taco place I have been to and it is largely attributes to the makes of proteins and the special souces.
I will recommend this as a place to visit on your way passing the town.
It is very delicious and the owner(s) are very easy to approach. There are tables chairs and restroom.
However.
When the owner posts it is not fastfood. She means it.
3 groups ahead of us and we waited roughly 40 minutes before we are received. Don’t go here if you are in a rush.
The fish taco used almost cold fried fish. It was heated earlier obviously but it became cold when served. This tasted gross and we gave up the fish taco.
I would let this go and call it a wonderful (despite the wait) experience if it wasn’t for both of us felt sick afterward that afternoon. I had a stomachache that forced me to a restroom and some pills. And the other one of us had stomachache. We did not eat anything else so we think it might have been the bite on the fish taco.

Tortillas were a bit stale but the fillings were great. Nachos were loaded and generous with a tasty flavour. Service was good and the outdoor setting area is very cute.

Pretty good taco place if you need to grab a quick bite. It is located in front of Hana Hou restaurant. Only one party can be in the restaurant at a time. There are plenty of benches around the property to choose from if you plan to stay and eat there. They accept cash only, so make sure you have some on hand. The fish tacos tasted fresh and you get to choose between 4 different sauces to put in your meal.
