I’m sad to say that this restaurant did not provide the quality of food for the price. I paid over $37 for a red snapper meal. I was promised that this fish was prepared caribbean style, but the fish still had a fishy smell. Caribbean style means the fish was properly cleaned. The meal was mediocre at best….had high hopes for a better Caribbean option in the area, but they fall short. Will continue to drive miles for better food options verses overpaying for just okay. Not trying to be harsh with this post, but my standards are as high as the price I chose to pay for my meal. Honestly had better food for less money.

Food is delicious and tasty and the portion size is big and price is fine. The beef and chicken patties are nice and spicy. Jerk wings and stew chicken was not that spicy but fall off the bone and tasty.

NOT GOOD, and extremely overpriced. Ordered 2 patties, one jerk chicken and 1 beef. They both were tasteless. Also got curry chicken and Roti, along with a jerk Tilapia sandwich. The chicken was so dry, It shouldn’t have been served. The fish was “mid” at best. For a total of I believe $50 something……… Just not good!!!! We moved into the area like 2 years ago and always past by…. Then said how we had to visit!! HUGE LET DOWN. I love Caribbean food and she’s Bahamian and Trinidadian. WE KNOW GOOD CARIBBEAN FOOD. This AIN’T IT. Sadly and woefully disappointed.

This is the place too eat , party, enjoy family, and friends. It’s absolutely a family oriented establishment, and the food is not only exquisite it’s absolutely worth every single penny plus 1000. I highly recommend it to you, and anyone you love and admire, your friends, your family, and everyone in between!!!!!! Yeah great place absolutely fantastic!!!!!

I went here for beef Patties and the service was horrible. The system was down so once they swiped my card she asked me to verify the transaction went through on my phone. I advised my phone was dead and was unable to do so. She then asked could she swipe again. I wanted to make sure she didn’t charge me twice so I asked and she was “for 4 dollars”. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude considering it was my 4 dollars. If she was unsure of her system working the restaurant should be at a loss not the customer. It doesn’t matter if it was 1 dollar. It’s the principle! The beef Patty tasted old as well. I won’t be returning to this restaurant.

The food is okay. It had been several Years since I’ve visited but yesterday 6/8/17 I stopped buy to get the veggie platter. I got cabbage, spinach, curry potato, chickpeas and rice. The chickpeas were a bit bland and the cabbage was too sweet . The potatoes were really the best on the plater. All this plus a fountain sorrel cost about $14. The food wasn’t as flavorful as it once was. But I’ll stop by for a sorrel drink every now and then.

My friends and I go here for lunch and we are always greater with a smile and service is always on point. When we do not go they ask about us when we return. We have sat down and had lunch and talked atmosphere is great for lunch.

A friend told me about this place and I finally decided to give it a shot. I usually go to the Caribbean spot in the same shopping center as Safeway grocery store but I am happy to say I will no longer be going there. Sapodilla’s Is utterly amazing and doesn’t need a pitch more of seasoning. I ordered the jerk salmon and shrimp platter with a side of roti & OMG !!! swore the heavens opened up on my first bite. I will be going back to try other things on the menu !
