One of the first places I was introduced to by my sister due to the high quality of food. Unfortunately due to the pandemic Santa Fe Grill looks and feels like they are still trying to recover. We visit here every once and a while over the years and I would love to see Santa Fe Grill return to what it once was pre-pandemic. So if your hankering for a awesome taco or burrito this is the place to go. The ingredients are simple but the flavor is outstanding. Please be patient with the owner as he is sometimes the only one working. You may have to repeat orders with him to ensure everything is correct and not missing. Despite all of the service setbacks, please help support this great local restaurant!

One thing about me is that I love good food! I came in after work today and ordered the tamales to go. They are full of flavor and have a homey feel, and the portions are generous for the price. The family that runs Santa Fe is accommodating and approachable. I plan to come back again in the future.

This Mexican restaurant is one of the most authentic taquerias I’ve ever been to. The food was delicious and he dispatched us pretty quickly. I will admit some of the interior decorations are kind of in your face , but it didn’t detract from the experience. Despite the humble appearance of the establishment, you owe it to yourself to eat here!

I have wonderful memories of this place! The owner is a great man and the food has always been delicious!! It’s close to everything in Louisville. Papa John’s, college campus, work places, Churchill Downs, baseball directly across the street.. I love it!
