It’s was a treat to come here after 20 years. I have a vague memory of this place. Well the bread was super hot… sour bread the moment I put the butter it melted instantly. Then the chowder was good and tasty with plenty of clams. The main course took too long arrived. kinda lost our appetite but we still ate most the entree. Yes I’ll be back.

1st time visit and well worth it. I’ve seen their “A FRAME” sign on the corner for years, but never had/ made the time to stop by. Beer selection is bottled, no draft. I had a Anchor Steam, they have Lagunitas, Sculpin, Stella, CL, and about 10 more. No liquor, just beer n wine. Menu is crazy, creole based!! Live Main lobster in a tank, you know its legit when you see that. I wasn’t hungry but the menu was so amazing that I had to try something, so I did the fried oysters. Um.., they were EXACTLY WHAT YOU’D EXPECT!!! Zack, the server/ bartender/grandson/ son of the owners was a cool cat. Good conversation. I can’t wait to go back when I have time for dinner. Don’t go there with lint balls in your pocket or purse, good food will cost ya, do be prepared . But… you’re gonna know where it went. Try it out, hopefully you’ll be impressed as I am.

Out of lobster until delivery truck tomorrow. Crab dip was so greasy. They don’t serve liquor. The muscles didn’t taste good. My steak had grill marks and looked good. Once I took a bite of my steak. I noticed a big chard taste. The steak wasn’t burned but it taste like it was or like the grill was dirty. No lobster in the bisque.

The lobster bisque was delicious with chunk of fresh lobster. The fish & chips was also excellent with the fish and shrimp cooked perfectly. Don’t miss the sweet potato fries!

Place is great! Actually talked with the owner while I waited for my food. Someone said something about the smell…… It’s a seafood restaurant duh. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely perfect. The chowder and the gumbo were both amazing, the seafood was delicious, and the sides were all fresh and tasty! Bonus points for a friendly staff, a fun atmosphere, and a respectable bottled beer list.

This place was quite the surprise. Looking at it from the outside you would be skeptical to eat seafood from here. Don’t judge a book by its cover. The ambiance was very fun, eat your food off the table. Highly recommended for a family with children over the age of 8 that enjoy seafood. They will get a kick out of it. Reason for a 4 star is the service was a lacking a little. Regardless the restaurant made up for that. Highly recommended

Definitely a hole in the wall place but has a sea shanty dive bar charm to it. There is a ton of variety on the menu but is priced about average to above average for the area. The waitress who served my group however was an absolute delight and was very knowledgeable about the menu.

Friendly staff (the owner, I believe), decent house wine, lots of local color. Prices pretty high for the seafood except for some special menu items. My calamari appetizer was meh, served with seafood sauce (think shrimp cocktail). If I lived in the area, I could see dropping in for a drink at the bar with the locals, but I’d probably stay away from anything pricey on the menu.

Shared one of the larger boils with my 16 year old son. It was fun to eat, delicious, and because you’re an active participant in banging, cracking, and pulling made for fun conversation. My son and I both agreed that the service (Nick) was also excellent. We’ll be back again! The menu offerings were enticing and we want too try other things.
