These fish tacos are the best we’ve found in Portland. Authentic, regional and delicious. The margaritas are superior here as well.

This place was utterly regrettable. The food was far below quality, exorbitantly overpriced, and the drinks were watery and of low grade. Ordered a Gordita with chicken, there were pieces of bone and cartilage in it. Kiddo had bean nachos, and for a whopping $10, it came with 6 tortilla chips, yes 6.

Ok tacos, they close early, we came about 10 minutes before closing time to get an order to go, the cashier said they were closing in 10 minutes so we said ok we are taking the order to go and sat outside to wait for our food, she then Proceeded to serve chips and salsa, full service to the table next to where we sat to wait, I had a chance to eat my fish taco from the to go back and she still wasn’t done bringing food out for the table next door. The fish tacos are great if they could make their sauce a little less sweet

Exceptionally overpriced. Ingredients were bare bones basics. Kid’s bean nachos had 6 chips, a plate of beans with generic store shredded cheese, and cost $10 for about 25 cents worth of food.

Got there at midday on a Tuesday and they had not gotten their fish shipment yet, so instead I ordered Huevos Rancheros. Great proportions for the price!

Today is Pozole day! Every Saturday is Pozole day at San Felipe Taqueria! We are huge fans and somewhat Pozole snobs and we LOVE the Pozole at San Felipe! It’s perfectly balanced with lots of pork and ample hominy. The cabbage, onions with oregano, the lime and the hot sauce are lovely accoutrements!

Don’t waste your time on this place. 2 times in a row now I’ve gone during their advertised open hours to find the place closed. They don’t answer the phone hardly. And when you manage to order your food, it’s a roll of the dice whether you’ll be sitting there for half an hour waiting for a burrito even if the place is a ghost town. I don’t know if it’s due to poor management or what but this place has gone so far down the drain in the last couple years. I’ve been eating here for 10 years and the food is always fantastic, but they clearly have lost it. Hope they can find someone competent to run the place and bring it back to it’s former glory.

Ordered online only to find out internet was down and they were having phone issues . Ok so I get that stuff happens . But then when I requested a refund for services that I didn’t receive. I spoke to someone at the restaurant who assured me that they let the manager/or owner know about this situation. After several phone calls and seemingly getting nowhere.
