I’m surprised this restaurant only gets 3.9 because the food is much better than that! A Mexican friend in DC recommended this restaurant to me last year so when I got out of the airport I decided to give it a try. I had a good experience! The service is nice too, they made the taco gluten free for my friend.

First impressions- it’s tired looking and worn – tiny TVs in corners of bar. Needs updating. Went for dinner – they were about to close but served us. Food and service was fine but the house margarita didn’t seem to have any tequila in it. Very weak drink. Beef tacos pictured – they were out of chicken when we ordered them

My little spot to get a good Pineapple Mojito or 3 after a long day of walking the DC… close to my hotel without actually drinking in the hotel. Easy commute crossing the street from the Crystal City Metro subway station to the Westin. The Carne Asada tacos, Carne Asada fajitas, Nachos, and Tortilla soup are really good. The tortillas are less than my favorite since Im a home made Texas tortilla (corn and flour) kind of girl. The large Cadillac Margarita will get you where you need to be, flavor is great! My waitress has been great and its got a nice warm atmosphere.

Great restaurant with a slightly more diverse menu than I would expect at an average Mexican restaurant. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. On this visit we had the Maya plate and the Aztec plate, both of which serve as a great sampler of entrees.

Good food very fair pricing. Not sure how the ratings are so low. The tacos were amazing and the shrimp was even better. Guacamole was also a huge hit. Give this place a try it is totally worth it.

While exploring the Shops at Crystal City, I was drawn to a very inviting entrance flagged by beautifully carved wooden doors leading into a multi level Tex Mex restaurant. There are two back to back bars with large, wide screen TV’s. Seating options include: cozy, private, booth, group and family.

I would not recommend this place to eat, maybe drinks only. I decide to visit the restaurant for dinner and order a Tex-Mex meal and it was supper disappointing. The beans and rice were bland to say the most, the enchiladas were terrible, no flavor or seasoning, the chili relleno was horrible. The decor was run down and the place was in need of maintenance. The only thing that was good about the place was the bar staff. Super friendly and helpful.
