What a cool, unique little gem of a restaurant. I love meats and prefer a low carb diet. So this place was perfect for dining out. Definitely fit in with my dietary needs! Not to mention the food is very delicious! I’ll for sure visit again the next time I’m in town. Now I’ve gotta try it all. I had the sausage & kraut. Big thumbs up! The atmosphere is awesome as well. You cannot miss this place when driving by. Like a month to a flame! It’s a must try! It’s not your typical restaurant style. It’s kind of Subway style dining with with a way more restaurant feel. We went on a very busy Friday night with a long line but it was worth the wait! Prices vary but the specials are a really good deal.

I have been eating at Sam’s Hofbrau Restaurant since 2009. I probably visited more than 100 times and each time except for one I ordered Open-faced Hot Turkey Sandwich. One exception is I had the Prime Rib Dinner. The Prime Rib Dinner was exceptional. Before the remodel, the Open-faced Hot Turkey sandwich was served with mashed potatoes and a Yellow Turkey Gravy. After the remodel, the Open-faced Hot Turkey Sandwich is now served with some form of White Gravy that in my experience of seventy-three years is not Turkey Gravy. The White Gravy tasted like flour and was pasty which totally ruined the meal. Sam’s Hofbrau is no longer a Restaurant Of Choice for me because of this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I have no words for what an amazing visit we had!! First off, the staff was so warm and genuinely friendly. They really made our night by just being so welcoming, and were so helpful with any questions we had. Secondly, the food was DELICIOUS! Our picky eater 7 year old CLEARED his plate! He was so into watching the carving station, and he really appreciated being asked if he’d like white/dark/half of each on his turkey. My husband got the French dip, and ended up drinking his au jus after he fished. We were so impressed! And let’s talk about how clean everything was in there!! They’re on top of everything, and we can’t wait to come back again. THANK YOU STAFF FOR A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!

I ordered the prime rib dinner. It was ok. It was more cooked and drier than I like it to be. I definitely told the worker to not trim the fat off. Thank God I told him because they were stripping the poor thing from other orders ahead of me. I don’t know why the workers at the meat station doesn’t ask. Not all of us like lean meat. I see them stripped the turkey of it’s skin too. Are you crazy? I want that skin. I want that fat. I paid for it. Anyways, yes, my prime rib was not as rare as I want it to be but it wasn’t miserable either. The sides are decent. I don’t know what it is but I feel like the food here isn’t what’s used to be. I went twice in one week and I wasn’t that impressed.

Food is great! I highly recommend the Pastrami Sandwich on the Soft Bread! Ask for extra meat! The quality of the meat is AMAZING! There is a full bar, Secluded Seating and Open Seating. This place has been here for many, many years and STILL the lines are sometimes long! Wide selection of food choices too! Enjoy!

Friendly staff, kind and courteous, quick service. The food is amazing. Definitely worth the trip. It’s a cafeteria style restaurant, but the quality of the food is amazing. I had the pastrami dipped in a ju and it was so flavorful. I dream about it still.
